We recently moved and this is the closest weis markets to our home. We’ve had 3 experiences in 4 weeks that were all negative.
The First Night we moved in my husband went to buy some quick things for the house. As he is walking to the door, the employee locks it while his hand reaches for the door. I understand there are closing hours, but customer service/friendliness to apologize would go a long way in pretending that you care.
The second experience was watching employees stand by the checkout. It was almost close (about 45 min til) and they watched us walk right by and out the door. Not one of them with a greeting/send off to have a great night. Again, customer service and your training can go a long way.
The third experience was an online order. I find it hard to believe some of the items missed were due to them being out. Items I always order and never seem to be out. Throughout the whole pandemic they weren’t out of these items. I repeat my grocery list. 10/30 items apparently were not in the store.
It’s been rudeness and disappointment from the day we moved in. Staff is NOT friendly or helpful.
Bye...
Read moreWe stopped in for a quick purchase, but only one cashier was working while several self-checkouts were open. Meanwhile, two employees stood at the front of the store chatting. The line for the only cashier wrapped around the corner, so I approached the two employees and politely asked if they could call for another cashier. Instead of helping, they laughed and continued their conversation, completely ignoring the request.
Shortly after, I saw another employee walking by, pushing a cart of products. I asked her if she could get assistance, but in the middle of my request, her personal phone rang. She stopped to answer it, then walked away without ever addressing the issue.
Eventually, someone did open another register, but only after an extremely long wait and after being openly dismissed and laughed at by the staff. The level of service at this store was shockingly unprofessional and rude.
I took this photo on the way out the store and I have pointed an arrow to the two employees who literally...
Read moreWent to get steamed shrimp and stood at the counter for 15 minutes until the manager showed up. Ordered 2 pounds at $13.99 a pound. He said he wasn't sure how to do it but he brought someone from the meat counter to help. I don't think they knew what they were doing. They put the shrimp in the pan and covered with water,I have never seen any store cover the shrimp with water. They put old bay over the top but with the water in the pan no old bay was on the shrimp after they steamed them. After we got them home and started to eat we saw most of the shrimp weren't fully steamed. We had to finish them ourselves. Going to put the remaining shrimp on the grill. They should have just told us they didn't have the proper people to do the job,I would have taken them home and did it myself. Waste of $30.00. Don't think I will be getting shrimp done...
