Waitress was very nice... However Just so you know they are very off on their wait times. We ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer with a side of ranch and a side of marinara asked if we wanted a small or larger size we said a small one of each, we order salad soup lasagna and a kids meal. Soda water and milk for drinks. So our mozzarella sticks came out without ranch a big marinara and a small marinara. Then the kids meals and the lasagna came out (still no drink or salad) then as their setting the food on the table the waitress brings our drinks. And says shell be back with our soup and salad. Got the rest of our food and don't see the waitress for a while. She keeps telling the people behind us that she can't find the wine they requested and the drink they wanted from the bar was not there because the bar was backed up. Which she ends up telling them that they do not have the wine in stock. So while she's dealing with her two other tables the manager came over and refilled out drinks and came back a second time to take our plates. When we get the check they charged us $4.49 I think was the price for a boat of marinara that we never ordered. Bottom line the waitress was very nice and she seemed like she was maybe new and trying. But it was a mess. We most likely will not be going back. Disappointed in the service no one seemed to know what the others were doing. Anyway I don't need to email anyone I see the manager gives the same response to everyone with lower ratings. I'm not looking for a free meal or anything just want to bring awareness to what happen during our...
Read moreTried to place an order for their delivery service on their website. I kept getting error msg and couldn't place my order. Called the restaurant, and they bounced me to three different people. The last person told me to call corporate to let them know there were issues. I was planning on spending over 48.oo plus tip for an entre, drink, and dessert. Instead, I called another restaurant, spent 1/2 of what I would have at Olive Garden, and the meal was much much better. It was going to be delivered within 45 mins to an hour and at the other restaurant they gave me a 20 min time frame and delivered within 15 minutes. My meal was hot, fresh, and what I consider a win-win instead of the runaround I got from the Olive Garden. Side note: Basically, because they were now offering delivery service, I was giving them a second chance as the last time I went to the restaurant, the meal sucked. Tasted bland, overlooked and underseasoned. In a way, it was a blessing that their website wasn't working as it should have been. I think corporate should rethink their free delivery fee for their 1st million customers because if all of their locations are experiencing the same issues they be out of business within the end of the year. Sad situation for a restaurant chain that used to be top-notch, but...
Read moreThis was the fiirst time going out for dinner with my loved one in 14 months, 2nd time since the beginning of Covid. Olive Garden did not disappoint.
Where there had previously been 3 tables there were now 2. While from a business standpoint it might seem like a loss of revenue, I would disagree. The missing tables allowed for faster service from start to end. This allows for turning tables at least 3 if not 4 times per dinner shift.
Our waitress was quite knowledgeable of the menu and we received our food both quickly & hot. This was only the 2nd time I'd ordered the gnocchi soup and I did so hesitantly. Last time was take-out and the gnocchi was soggy. Not having it sit in a covered go bowl made all the difference.
Not only did we take home our leftovers but a couple of their $5 take home meals. These meals were 22 oz. each. After adding just a few more ingredients at home (frozen peas, black beans, some leftover chicken & hamburger) I was able to pack 6 one pound hearty Italian lunches... Perfect for hubby's work lunches.
Mangiare, mangiare! 😋...
