Stopped at the last moment in Yuba City. Parking is limited. As you enter the strip mall restaurant, you are directed to seat yourself. You are then brought a basket of tortilla chips, which taste store bought, and a small bowl of red salsa.

My wife and I ordered Al la carte carnitas sopes and small asada tacos (I called the street tacos). The food was served fresh. At other establishments, the sopas were like hockey pucks. However, here they were fresh, soft, and delicious. The carnitas had a great flavor. As for the ‘small’ tacos, they were smaller than normal, but tasted great. They came with a lot of meat, onions, cilantro, and green sauce. I asked for the green sauce to be put on the side so I could try the taco with the red salsa. I personally like the red on the asada. I’d add cabbage to escalate them.

The service was basic, nothing overboard. I had to ask for more water only when the check was brought. I believe the customer service side could be stepped up.

The atmosphere was really inviting with respect to the Mexican environment. They even had Mexican...

As many of you following me have noticed, I don't often post about food places. The few times I do it is because I am blown away by the food.

I got the Birria soup here at Las Brasas. I wasn't really sure what to expect, only having had Birria a few times before and never in soup form. But here, and with this soup, I have found something incredible. Something worth every spicy, rich, perfectly salted bite.

I am a Pozole fan usually. Expecting greatness and often let down (I won't write bad reviews, Instead choosing only to save my writing for those spots worth every penny), I am always looking for that rich, spicy perfection. The Birria at Las Brasas surpassed even my loftier expectations, and I will be returning (a rare...

My husband and I love mexican food. We been going to Carlitos but the last multiple visits we received very bad service and so we started looking for a new restaurant. We decided to try out las Brasas after reading the reviews online. I’m so glad that we did because the food was SO flavorful and delicious. The complimentary chips and salsa was very good. I ordered the 2 item combo chicken tamale and chicken enchilada, hubby ordered chicken salad and we ordered two fried fish tacos on the side. Let me say the food was flavorful and very delicious- it did not disappoint. Our server was very attentive. Overall experience was great. Will definitely be...

We have no complaints except we wish we could have tried more items. Food was the best we have had in the area! Ceviche is a must, but all the food was very good. Enchilada Verde, chile relleno and ceviche were excellent! Service was quick and friendly. What a great experience! We will be back!
