Top Dog Tavern! — Restaurant in Yucaipa

The reason that I am giving 'Service' a One Star is because as I walked in, the man at the door asked me for my ID. I'm in my early 60's, but OK, no problem. I show him my military veterans ID card. He not only looks at it but he scans with some device. Next thing he does is pat me down and he asks me if I have a knife or gun on me. I, of course say NO. Other patrons are staring at us and one young lady says that he must think I'm cute and wants to feel me up. Just for context, I am a US Navy Veteran, and prior law enforcement 22 years. I have no tattoos and I was friendly.I was dressed casual and clean. My friend, whom I came in with, is a woman in her early 80's, very nice, and kind. He looks at her ID but he doesn't scan it. I did not see him pat anyone else down throughout the night. He is either terrible at reading the room and a terrible judge of character, or he is up to some shannagin with scanning my ID (I alerted the VA that my ID may have been compromised) and/or he's hiding something about the bar. Either way, I won't be going back there and neither will my friend. I also, alerted my bank to cancel my bank card and issue me another one. No one likes to be singled out and asked stupid questions without probable cause. I was there just last night 11/16/2024 just to enjoy the evening with a lady friend and the UFC fight...

Called ahead of time to make sure they had the UFC fight that night which they said they did and actually my wife also called and they told her the same thing. They were going to have the UFC fight. There's a bunch of TV screens with different games and such going on all around the whole place. Great service atmosphere was cool. The only thing is when 6:00 came around they did not have the UFC fight after all so there's that. Probably won't go back. Pat, the place is still cool. A dive bar of sorts, haven't been eating here too much but the times I have there's always new people in there but there's also been a few regulars. my main reason for rating this by five stars is how new it is and how new everything is in there, they even have phone chargers at the bar.. this bars literally only about 3 years old if I'm correct. One of if not the most newest bar I've ever been in. Everything is always clean and then drinks are always some of the cheapest in town if not...
