My wife and I and our grandniece arrived at C&S coffee shop @5:45pm on Saturday Aug 14, 2021 on our Handicapped electric scooters wanting to have dinner and out of respect we were parking the larger scooter and our grandaughters bicycle outside to minimize our impact on limited space. After sending our grandniece in to check seating availability, we chose the smaller scooter so I (who is unable to use the normal seating due to my medical conditions) had a seat but as we parked and were about to go into C&S Julio a server proceeded to come outside to us and advise us they were about to close early and would not serve us dinner even though the hrs are posted till 7:30pm. We regrouped after a 20 minute phone call just off the premises of C&S with people arriving after us and not being turned away. We then decided to cross the busy highway 62 to Las Palmas mexican food to have dinner where we were welcomed and accomodated to our wants and needs and in clear view of C&S coffee shop. While we enjoyed dinner, we observed the coffee shop staying open till well after 7pm. This clearly was discrimination & in violation of A.D.A. accessibility laws. Needless to say after our experience we will not return and not recommend anyone to patronize this establishment it was a poor choice on Julio's part and they lost our $50.00 in business...

I finally got the time to eat in this restaurant. I have heard a lot of raves about this place and I just love trying food especially breakfast because its just so underrated. Our staff was friendly, but nothing really new. They weren't super upbeat. We were greeted by Julio. But he wasn't out waiter. It was a woman with no name tag. We were kinda jealous cause the people sitting next to us had more interaction with their waiter than our waiter with us, her knowing that it was our first time. But oh well. Since this is my first time eating here , I chose something familiar and crave. I had corn beef hash, eggs medium, and instead of potatoes, I chose to have tomato slices, I also ordered biscuits and gravy to substitute my bread. My husband ordered ham and cheese omelette. I'm guessing that they don't use the 3 cheese cause it looked like they poured gooey cheese on top of the eggs. It looked really good. My tomato slices was cut unevenly but even tho, they made my eggs right!. What is this witchcraft. They were very good. They served the gravy and biscuits separately. Overall, I was satisfied and happy from what I got. I do recommend this place because hot food and good company is such a perfect...
Read moreThe food is good. No complaints! However, on a very serious note. The waitress came by to take our order and I told her I am allergic to olive oil and black pepper. She looked confused so I repeated myself. She nodded but I noticed she didn't write it down. After taking my party's order, I decided to keep an eye on her. To my shock, I see her walk over the to the kitchen with a bottle of olive oil!!!! At this point I'm worried and decide to stop another waitress and tell her that I want to make sure they are not using the olive oil. She frantically tells me the girl misunderstood and gave them the olive oil to cook my pancakes with!! Luckily, this kind waitress stopped them before things turned into a LITERAL DISASTER! “I have a severe allergy to olive oil" is pretty cut and dry. I am beyond disappointment and in shock with the waitress's inability to understand the word "allergy". I suggest they teach their employees to be cognizant of the word "allergy" and the severity of it. The food was good but I won't be going back. Anyone with food allergies should beware of...
