Whit's Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Zanesville

Overall Wits Frozen Custard is pretty good. Their custard itself I absolutely love. Unfortunately my experience with their customer service was less than desired. I don't know if the young lady was having a bad day or what the issue was but she was not happy to be there. I didn't get a smile out of her and I even made a couple comments to try to do so. Unfortunately in my opinion when I have a bad experience with someone waiting on me that I actually plan on tipping I have to rate the restaurant less. I really wanted to give it five star but I just can't. I will try this place again in the future and see how that customer service...

I rarely leave a 1 star review, but the management at this place is rude. They have the front counter closed because they say they are short staffed. There are 4 employees working inside and custard piling up and melting on a table while workers are standing around. Making elderly people get back in their cars to order. Almost causing accidents on Maple Ave because they are inefficient at running their establishment. This makes no sense, I mean it’s putting custard into a cup or cone. I have never been a fan of ice cream/custard/yogurt due to a milk allergy. So I just avoid these places because they never have anything I can have. We now have a Whit's frozen custard here in Zanesville on Maple Ave. They assured me it was dairy free and made separate from anything else so, I tried the vegan custard and it was delicious. Certain times they make several flavors of the vegan and the banana split is the best. I am hooked now. They take the time to make these so that all can enjoy the custard without any problems.
