Café Falafel, formerly known as Shalom, was a beloved spot for my husband and me. After hesitating for a while, we finally decided to visit again today, and we were not disappointed! The quality of the food remains exceptional, with an ideal balance between price and value. Every dish is prepared with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the highest quality.
The seasonal menu featuring pumpkin dishes was particularly impressive, and the steak was simply outstanding. The pâté was exquisite as well. I'm glad they retained many of the popular items from the old Shalom menu.
One unique aspect of this café is the wide variety of original alcoholic infusions made from berries and dried fruits. Unable to choose just one, we opted for a tasting set, and it was a great decision.

Read moreAs an American Jew, looking for a kosher spot and searching for it and this place popping up to only go inside and finding out it isn’t was kind of a disappointment. The restaurant itself is quaint with sort of a minimalist setting. It really lends itself to a pleasant eating experience. Back to the falafel. We ordered the falafel with hummus in pita, and it was so filling. The falafel are a really good size and there’s two inside and two outside. The falafel were done perfectly crispy and golden brown. I could go on about how much we enjoyed them, but you should really try...
