Dear Management Team at Stylo Residence & Suites,

I hope this reviews finds you well.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at your hotel for five nights. Overall, my experience was positive, and I would like to thank your wonderful staff for their hospitality and professionalism throughout my stay.

However, I would like to share some feedback regarding an issue that occurred on the day of my departure. During my stay, a pillow cover and a duvet cover were unintentionally stained with hair dye. When I informed the reception staff, they explained that there would be a $50 charge to cover the damage. I accepted this explanation and kindly asked if the matter could be reviewed by a manager, especially considering that I had been a respectful and cooperative guest throughout my stay.

On May 17, 2025, at approximately 11:45 AM, I met with a supervisor at the reception who informed me that the charge would actually be $100. This was quite surprising, given that the reception staff had clearly communicated a $50 fee. I tried to explain that such situations are often handled with more flexibility in other tourist-friendly countries.

Specifically, I told him, “In Dubai, hotels are usually more understanding of such minor and unintentional issues, especially when it comes to encouraging tourism and providing a welcoming experience to guests.” He replied, “Here in Uzbekistan, we do not overlook such matters.” So I said, “Okay, but your reception staff clearly informed me that the penalty is $50, and now you’re asking for $100?” He insisted on the $100 charge and continued to delay the conversation. After some time and back and forth, he finally agreed to accept the original $50, which I then paid.

While I respect the hotel’s policies, I believe that matters like these should be handled with professionalism, consistency, and a kind approach—especially when dealing with international guests who genuinely respect and appreciate your country.

Uzbekistan is a beautiful destination with enormous potential for tourism. I truly believe it has a bright future on both a regional and global level. However, a key part of building a successful tourism sector lies in offering guests not only quality accommodation but also a welcoming and understanding attitude when dealing with unforeseen situations.

We stayed for 5 nights in July 2024 (3 then 2 nights). We were a family of 4 adults and 2 children. We took the 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment. The first 3 nights were in apartment 505, the second 2 nights were in apartment 404. The manager Valeriya was very kind upon our check out. She asked for our feedback. The staff members Abdulaziz, Sevinch, and Nazokot were helpful.

Pros: Clean apartment that's well maintained. Kitchen is complete with appliances (fridge, freezer, stovetop, oven/microwave). Friendly, welcoming staff. Good room service. There's a washing machine. There's a dishwasher in some apartments (was available in 404 but not 505). Nice balcony but the large apartments (2-bed, 2-bathroom) don't have a view on the garden. The gym is excellent for both cardio and strength training. There's a scale and a yoga/meditation room. The garden is nice with a playground and shaded seating areas. The location is good with many nearly restaurants, coffeeshops, and a pharmacy.

Cons: No trash bins in the rooms. Only one trash bin in the kitchen (small) and another in the bathroom. Only one box of tissues for the whole apartment. No breakfast buffet, but there's a restaurant on the 6th floor where you can heave breakfast or order it as a room service.
