Vietnamese from Sacramento, California. The soup was great. The noodles were fresh and chewy! Unlike other places, this place does not put the noodles in the soup before orders, so the noodles are not soft, and the soup is not starchy (thick). I went here for the banh canh ghe (crab) for dinner, and they ran out of every type of soup there was, except for the quail eggs and cha. So I ordered what they had with the side of the banh quay (bread). The banh quay was crispy! It was freshly fried and was delicious. I'm a fan and will ba back. There's not a lot of places that run out of what they sell at 6pm and have freshly fried banh quay.

Note: The menu with the English translation is not the full menu as the vietnamese only menu. I should've taken the vietnamese only menu too, but I didn't realize they were different. The menu with the English translation doesn't have eggs as one of the options. If you want quail...

Really love their food here. The broth was light yet flavorfull. Really suitable for dinner even when you are full. What makes this dish even more unique is the tapioca transparant noodle, making the texture chewy and feels so sattisfying when you slurp the noodle.

You might not want to visit too late at night tho, because some of the topping options might be sold out. Especially the shrimp topping.

Defunitely will return if I visitn...

I was in search of some authentic, good banh canh cua (crab). When I came at 5pm they were out of cua so I tried the cha ca (fish cake) and it was delicious. I came back the next morning to try the crab and OMG. Sooooo good.

I’m super picky about my banh canh and theirs is on point. Not fishy and perfectly flavorful.

Fresh...

The thick noodle soup is really nice. Savory soup with pork hock and prawns that blend so well together. You may choose to include crab meat too. There's menu on the wall in english and the owner is friendly. The passion fruit juice is nice as well.
