"I recently had the pleasure of dining at this remarkable restaurant in Vietnam, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The interior was tastefully decorated, creating a charming ambiance that enhanced the overall dining experience.
The menu boasted an impressive array of dishes, offering something for every palate. After careful consideration, I decided to try the emo's rice and Vietnamese pancake, and I'm thrilled to report that they were absolutely delightful. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and each bite was a tantalizing explosion of taste. It's clear that the chefs at this restaurant have mastered the art of Vietnamese cuisine.
Not only was the food exceptional, but the customer service was truly exceptional as well. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about ensuring a memorable dining experience. The manager, in particular, stood out with their attentiveness and willingness to go above and beyond to accommodate any requests or answer any questions.
What added to the charm of this restaurant was its location near the beach. The proximity to the beach created a serene and relaxing atmosphere, and I found it to be a pleasant escape from the bustling city. The gentle sea breeze provided natural ventilation, making it comfortable even without the need for air-conditioning.
In conclusion, I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. It truly deserves its reputation as one of the best dining establishments in Vietnam. The combination of delectable dishes, impeccable customer service, and a beautiful location near the beach make it a must-visit for anyone seeking an exceptional culinary experience. Whether you're a fan of Vietnamese cuisine or simply looking for an unforgettable dining adventure, this restaurant is sure to leave a...
Read moreWednesday, 4pm. It was a little windy but we sat near the entrance. We ordered drinks and two pumpkin soups with prawns. We got a bowl and two serving dishes, so we started eating and it tasted alright so we decided to order fried rice, steamed rice, garlic and chilli morning glory and a local specialty fish served with tomato and pineapple. ....It was only after ordering our main meal that our second pumpkin soup showed up. Our fried rice then turned up by itself, but it had no flavour, and we noticed the distinct use of frozen vegetables (chewy carrots).
Our rice and 'garlic and chilli' morning glory turned up after we finished the fried rice and it was lacking flavour (because we heard it being microwaved while we were eating the fried rice), but we started eating, not knowing when the fish would turn up. We asked for soy sauce because the food in front of us was remarkably tasteless.
I'm going to say right now that we were the only people in the restaurant during this time.
About 30 minutes later, our fish was served and the chef came to apologise. We would have rather the food came all out at once rather than bit by bit as we ordered it at the same time but we had finished eating and wanted to leave.
When we finished our meal, the waiter arrived and gave us our bill, a cool 302,000 vnd for our meal, which wasn't bad. We paid and were about to leave but were told by the waiter they had made a mistake and we needed to pay more. Another 98,000 for those soups. We paid and left.
We aren't going back. For that money, we could have gotten much better food elsewhere.

Read moreI serendipitously stumbled across Emo's when avoiding the large evening crowds and traffic on Ho Nghinh. As I walked along My khe 4, I was drawn to the light and uncluttered elegance of the restaurant decore, the attentive busy wait staff, and diners discerning in appearance.
I was approached by one of the ladies... and her sincere, warm, and intelligent engagement sealed it for me that this restaurant was no conveyor belt of unloved dishes served to foreign tourists with abused palates.
When testing a restaurant I have not been to before, I like to order 2 dishes : one that is difficult to get right and takes time and good ingredients. the second something that requires experience and creativity to make interesting, a vegan dish.
At Emo's I chose caramelized pork belly and vegan fried spring rolls.
Emo's excelled with both dishes. The pork belly had been slow cooked to a beautiful tenderness, and the flavor was unique, with depth and an exotic aroma. Incidentally, my favorite pork belly dish is Asian infused with star anise, cinnamon, and orange. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
But I have to say the staff were absolutely top shelf. They moved a table from outside to inside for me, as a strong cold wind had developed during the later afternoon. My mobile phone was almost flat, and they happily provided a charger. The English of all staff was fluent. The food was delivered in good time. The prices very low for this quality of meal. Smiles prevailed!
I come to Danang a few times a year for business, and will introduce clients to Emo's in the...
