We stayed three nights in this hotel. Right after the first night, much to our surprise, the front desk staff accused us ‘indirectly’ that a towel and a floor mat towel was ‘missing’. We still had two more nights left to stay. I tried telling the front desk staff that we had no idea where they were and was free to check our luggages if he wanted, We had seen a group of housekeeping staffs cleaning our adjacent rooms and our room the first morning while we were there around breakfast time. I told the front desk staff (who was in our room by this time), that maybe they had misplaced them. The housekeepers had btw, forgotten again to leave one bath towel and a floor towel mat AFTER they cleaned the room, which explains to me maybe they forgot in the first place too!? Anyways, me and my husband own a luxury resort ourselves and being questioned about the towel was ridiculous and that too on our first night! It ruined my whole stay because it made me feel accused and blamed for the missing towel. The staffs need to communicate better and double check everything before accusing the guests who are there just to have a good time. In my case, I felt bad they were missing the towel and a floor mat but it dampened my stay and would not return again...

My family and I had a lovely stay at this hotel. While it may not be a luxury hotel, the service, staff, cleanliness of the room, food, ambiance, everything was phenomenal. This was our first time in Vietnam, and this hotel made our stay pleasant and comfortable.

Big shoutout to the staff, especially Kane, who was very helpful and accommodating. They truly go above and beyond with their service. The service was top-tier, and the buffet breakfast was delicious. It can get a bit crowded, though, so it would be nice to have a more spacious area for the buffet.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the rooftop bar was beautiful. The views of Da Nang were amazing, you can even see the beach from there. There were plenty of drink options to choose from, and the small pool at the top of the hotel was a charming bonus.

The hotel’s location is perfect, it’s within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the beach. The only downside is the entrance, which has steep stairs that may be difficult for seniors to use.

Overall, it’s a great hotel, and I would definitely recommend it to my family and friends if they ever plan to visit this...

I had a pleasant 21-day stay at Mercy Emerald Hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and worth the price. What made it even better was the location—perfect for a long-term stay. It’s close to everything you’d need, including food spots, coworking-friendly cafés, laundry services, and grocery stores.

The downsides? Breakfast was mediocre—served the exact same thing every day with limited options, though that didn’t bother me much. The gym, unfortunately, looked more like an abandoned storage room, so if fitness is a priority for you, you might be disappointed.

As for the WiFi, it was pretty bad in my room (503), barely getting one bar. That said, it’s enough for regular streaming and light browsing, but if you need a strong connection for heavy usage like video calls or large file uploads, I’m telling you now—it won’t be enough.

That said, the staff was amazing—very attentive, accommodating, and providing the level of service you’d expect from a 4-star hotel. Despite the minor inconveniences, my stay was overall comfortable.

Would recommend if you prioritize location and service over amenities like gym and...

The hotel reception staff were welcoming and helped with bags into the lobby on arrival. There are only two small lifts which in my opinion is not enough especially when the fire escape stairs have laundry and cleaning items blocking the landings which in a fire would be disasterous. I did report this issue to reception staff. The rooftop pool is small but enough to cool down and a nice bar to relax. The room is sufficient, the bed was comfortable and we had a premier deluxe room at the back of the hotel which was quiet. The lighting in the bathroom was poor and the only mirror was there. There was a tv in the room but not a smart tv so pretty useless, not that it worried me as we only slept in the room. The breakfast for a western palate was poor. I would not pay for it there are other options close by. The coffee was like tar (very strong and bitter). The housekeeping was not great, bed making skills were bad, I made the bed myself most nights before sleeping. They also left a dirty glass and empty can in the room. The bath was big but when draining it flooded the bathroom. The location was good, a short walk to the beach.

The hotel is listed as ‘new’ but it is not a new building. A few steps to go up in the entrance and during the night shift you should carry them yourself. In the daytime, Robert helped bring them down 👍🏼. (He asked us to remember his name) Check in was easy and staff were kind. Rooms were not bad size wise but shower leaked water all over the floor and basic amenities were on a dirty tray. The walls were SO thin and heard every sound possible throughout the night. (Which included a bunch of coughing / hacking guests which was disturbing.) The breakfast buffet was pretty decent with fresh fruit and eggs made fresh. But literally every guest in the buffet room was hacking coughing so we couldn’t enjoy properly. The lack of privacy and coughing invasion from other guests made us feel suffocated here. The location is great and staff are good but the guests should wear a mask if they are sick in common areas. Shower should be fixed so it drains properly and not all over the floor (very dangerous to walk in bathroom after shower.)
