Exceptional home cooked flavors in a lovely, cozy, and laid-back restaurant tucked away in a quiet neighborhood cul-de-sac (end of the street). The flavors were outstanding with heavy black pepper (I love extra black pepper), a good amount of salt, strong fish sauce, and garlic plus cilantro. They did not hold back on the tasty flavors!

I ordered the 139k Lov Combo for 2 people and absolutely LOVED it. It included rice, egg, braised pork belly and egg, sauteed vegetable, soup, and excellent pickled vegetable. 11/10 points. It was a fantastic deal! We left comfortably full.

I don't understand the reviews that said it is expensive. I don't think this is expensive. It was a very, very good value for the dining experience, even for locals. The customer service was also attentive, and the staff kindly brought out a fan because I was a sweaty tourist.

The restaurant was filled with a mix of locals, couples, families with young children, and tourists. They also had lots of delivery pickups. The music in the restaurant was also on point! I loved coming here for a low-key date night as it felt romantic and peaceful enough for quiet conversation. Everything was served on lovely servingware, and it felt nice and airy inside with high ceilings. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to coming back again soon. Nam Co 12 Thang is a little gem of a restaurant that is well-run by an attentive and passionate staff. The restaurant is hidden at the end of a quiet neighborhood street. The quality of food is high and the value for the money is excellent. The food is simply delicious; you will be coming back for sure. The food is presented humbly with traditional plates, crocs, and platters that evokes home-style comfort. The interior is simple yet comfortable, clean, sanitary with a hand washing sink and a nice bathroom. All the food that we have ordered on our three visits was outstanding. I would recommend the set menu for 139k VND, that will feed two people. It includes a wonderful egg omelette dish, rice, a nice soup, sautéed vegetables, pickled vegetables and a meat dish (your choice of chicken, pork or beef). The chicken was amazing; prepared with a sweet, tangy, spicy soy sauce based marinate. The pork is a slow roasted pork loin seasoned with star anise and other traditional spices. I had the delight to have not one but two meals here during my travel and I must say I was totally impressed both the times!!

The owner and the staff are super adorable and go out of the way to ensure your dining experience is well taken care of. The restaurant is in a very quiet street but still very lively by its own means. The interiors are so pretty and decorated that you take a lot of pictures too.

Talking about the food the menu is vast and friendly for any type of preference - veg / non-veg / sea food only etc. and did I forget to mention - the food and taste is super delicious!!! (Now you know why I’ve been there twice in a span of 5 days 😁)
