We found refuge in here during the rain, when we couldn’t get a Grab driver. There was a fireworks show at the Dragon Bridge last night and it was pandemonium. We were hoofing it back towards our hotel when the heavens opened up. Cardi was just ahead and we decided to eat dinner here. There was only one other table occupied, and they left soon after we sat down, so we had the place to ourselves. I saw Peroni beer on the menu, bottle and draft. I love this beer, but it is hard to find in SE Asia. I was very happy, but then quickly sad when the waitress told me that Peroni was not available that night. I went with a Corona and it was an ok substitution. The waitress seemed to have a pretty good grasp of English, so I didn’t bust out my Google translate app like I usually do. I asked for a ham and mushroom pizza and to add Italian sausage. She had an interaction with me about this that made me 100% comfortable that she understood my order. My girlfriend ordered lamb chops. My pizza came out and it was just ham and mushrooms. The mushrooms, small button ones, were whole (first time ever seeing this). I asked about the sausage and she looked puzzled and then gestured to the ketchup and olive oil bottles on the table. She said “sauce” and then walked away. Damn. That was disappointing. We waited about another 15-20 minutes for my girlfriend’s lamb chops to arrive. This is not good service from the waitstaff or kitchen. No one likes to get meals delivered so staggered. By the time she got her plate, by pizza was nearly cold. It was just ok. Perfectly cooked though, but nothing stood out. Pretty bland sauce and dough. The ingredients were good though. My family and I had a wonderful dinner at Cardi Pizzeria Vo Van Kiet. The first thing that impressed me was the cozy, luxurious but still intimate restaurant space with an open wood-fired oven for handmade pizzas

We ordered T-bone steak and I have to say this is one of the best cuts of beef I have ever tasted. The beef was grilled just right, retaining its softness and natural flavor. The fat interspersed in the meat melted as soon as you bite into it, combined with the rich sauce to create an unforgettable experience. The cheese pizza was also great when the high-quality ingredients were combined together

In addition to the delicious food, I was also very satisfied with the service of the staff here. The waiters were very attentive, polite and willing to advise on dishes when asked. The time to serve dishes was also extremely fast, not making customers wait long, especially with sophisticated dishes like steak.

Unfortunately, your staff did not intervene or attempt to manage the situation. My primary concern, however, stems from my food order. I ordered one egg pizza, specifically requesting it without ham and reiterating twice that it was for a vegetarian. Despite these clear instructions, I found ham in my pizza, which was incredibly disappointing and unacceptable.
