Shin Sushi — Restaurant in Đà Nẵng

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! We came very excited and hungry after reading many reviews. We were asking the waitress questions on the menu and she left mid conversation. We skimmed through the menu and ordered drinks and food. Drinks came in about 10 minutes and the lime juice was the best thing we got during our visit. We ordered a sushi roll, miso soup, bowl of rice, gyozo, edamame, and shrimp tempura. The first thing to come was a basic spicy salmon sushi roll 30 minutes after waiting. I watched as others who came in after us received their food. I even asked the waitresses 2 times very politely if our food will be here soon. After this we waited 50 minutes for my miso soup, sushi rice, and shrimp tempura. 10 minutes later my edamame and gyoza come. We waited an hour for the most basic dishes. Then on top of that when I went to drink my miso soup it was in a broken bowl with a big crack in the bottom and leaked all over my other food. Found this place while searching on Google Maps for a Japanese restaurant in Da Nang to try. We were here for the day and knew we needed to have some seafood and wasn't disappointed with Shin Sushi.

We got the katsu curry rice was nice and crispy with a flavourful curry over everything. It was great and everything just melted in your mouth. The miso soup was also tasty.

We ordered the Tuna Don and Negitoro Don. The Tuna Don and Negitoro Don was fresh, simple and delicious. If you love tuna sashimi, absolutely get these dishes.

The service was good. The waitress was super friendly and effecient. The service was fast and everything came out super quick.

They have a huge menu here so we had a hard time deciding what to get. We wanted a little bit of everything! Our first impression was that the wasabi is of good quality. It is not the powdered kind but the fresh root wasabi.

We ordered the omakase set A, ramen, takoyaki, zaru soba, and spicy salmon roll. We like that the omakase did not come with a lot of rice so the balance between quantity of rice and fish is perfect! We are from Canada and sushi is amazing there so we have high standards when it comes to our sashimi and sushi.
