MK Rooftop Bar – Stunning Mountain Views in Sapa

I visited MK Rooftop Bar on top of Pao’s Hotel in Sapa and ordered a Vietnamese coffee with salted cream cheese. The coffee was excellent, exactly the flavor I enjoy.

What makes this place truly special is the breathtaking view overlooking the terraced rice fields and Fansipan Mountain. I came here on my last day in Sapa to relax while waiting for my shuttle bus, and it was the perfect spot to unwind. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and even though I wasn’t staying at the hotel, they let me enjoy the café.

It is a bit pricey (around 85,000 VND for a small cup of coffee), and the sunset was hidden by thick clouds that day, but the overall experience was still worth it.

While the setting was nice, we found several aspects of the experience disappointing. The staff repeatedly cleared our plates before we had finished eating, which made us feel rushed. We would have preferred if they waited until we had fully finished and left the table before cleaning up. Additionally, the hostess was not welcoming—she didn’t smile or greet us properly upon arrival and often seemed more focused on chatting with others. Great view to Fansipan Mount and Muong Hoa Valley, the restaurant locates inside Pao’s Sapa Leisure Hotel.
