They have great view. It looks towards the mountain but there are several constructions disturbed. The room is ok and clean, but the room's view is not that good. The location is an advantage if you want to go to the night market, it is very close. Sapa Charm is also close to the stone church. However, there is no parking area here, and you have to park it a little but far and ask the hotel for the bus service to there. The food is yummy. I love their local vegetable and roasted chicken. All are well season. They also serve the seasonal fruit as dessert. However, the breakfast buffet is not diverse and healthy. Most of them are fried, and might not fit anyone who pursuit a healthy meal.
Finding a hotel in Sapa can be tricky - you want that postcard view, but you also don't want to be stuck in the hustle and bustle of the town center. Luckily, Sapa Charm Hotel struck the perfect balance for me.
It was a bit of a walk from the Sapa Cathedral, maybe 15 minutes or so, but that just meant my room was blissfully quiet. Plus, the walk itself was lovely - fresh mountain air and glimpses of the surrounding rice terraces. Speaking of the view, that was the real star of the show! My room looked right out over the Muong Hoa Valley, and waking up to those misty mountains was breathtaking.
The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, even with my limited Vietnamese. The breakfast buffet was a good spread of Vietnamese and Western options, which fueled me up perfectly for exploring Sapa. An unexpected bonus was the indoor pool - a great way to relax after a day of hiking.
Overall, Sapa Charm Hotel was a fantastic choice for my trip. It wasn't the most luxurious place I've ever stayed, but it had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Sapa, with a view that will stay...
Read moreI had high hopes for Charm Sapa Hotel based on the pictures and some reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.
First of all, the room was not clean. The bedsheets looked used and had stains on them, and the bathroom had a terrible smell. It was clear that proper housekeeping had not been done before we checked in.
The staff were not friendly or helpful. When we reported the issues with the room, they seemed uninterested and offered no solution or apology. Communication was also difficult, as most staff members didn’t speak basic English, which made even simple requests frustrating.
The hotel is noisy, especially at night. We could hear loud talking, banging doors, and even music from nearby rooms until late, which made it hard to sleep. The soundproofing is basically nonexistent.
Breakfast was another disappointment. The food was cold, bland, and there were very few options. It didn’t meet the standards of a hotel that claims to be 3-4 stars.
On top of all this, the Wi-Fi barely worked, and the elevator was extremely slow and unreliable. It often took several minutes just to go up or down one floor.
Overall, Charm Sapa was a huge letdown. For the price we paid, we expected much better service, cleanliness, and comfort. There are plenty of other better hotels in Sapa — I strongly recommend...
