Lien Hoa Bakery — Restaurant in Da Lat City

Massive new place and probably due to its ‘newness’ the buzz and it’s bake goods ... somehow loses the appeal of its older / more crowded sister shop further up downtown. The upkeep needs improving as it does not appear very clean and also seem to be understaffed. Their signature Banh Mi is sold here but without the turnover (of its other significantly more crowded sister store), am skeptical about the meat ingredients lying in plain sight ... waiting for orders. Imagine your pate spread waiting sitting for hours ... when it should be refrigerated.

Eh, overhyped but convenient for English speakers. Good for cheap baked goods. I spent about 130k (5 USD) for tons of stuff, maybe about 8 pastries. The baked items are labeled in English and Vietnamese, ingredient list is also there. It's a serve your self place, grab a tray and pick out your items. Go to the register and they'll bag and ring it up. If you want Banh mi sandwiches it's ordered and made there. Less than 5 minutes but the sandwich was ok. Ставлю 3 звезды и сама расстраиваюсь. У этого места были амбиции! Это заметно! Пекут прям здесь, много разной выпечки и десертов. Несколько этажей, то есть поместится куча народа. Но ! Отношение к работе у ребят видимо посредственное. Грязно, испорченные десерты выставлены на продажу по дешевой цене, но так уже плесень, а значит их ни за что нельзя употреблять! Сладости это очень серьезный и душевный бизнес, так как всех хочется вкусно, красиво и конечно же все самое свежее в такой то известной пекарне ! Мало разновидностей хлеба. В общем Lien Hoa, давай вставай на ноги и все туристы будут считать своим долгом посетить это место. А еще очень не хватает музыки )
