Quán bánh ướt lòng gà Hà Phương — Restaurant in Da Lat City

We ordered banh uot dac but, banh uot ga, and chao ga. Both banh uot ga seemed to be a mini version of the dac biet other than the cha — it had unhatched egg and liver. I liked the flavor of the banh uot a lot but I was disappointed that the only organ meat was liver. And it was an overwhelming amount of liver. Liver is my least favorite but I enjoy a bite or two when it’s balanced with everything else. There was more liver than the chicken, too.

Honestly Bánh ướt lòng gà isn't one of my favourite dishes but tried it nonetheless as it was one of the famous foods in Dalat city. And I was pleasantly surprised. It was really good compared to other places I've tried before in both Dalat and HCMC. You can also choose the chicken version instead of the one with offal, if you can't take offal. The only downside is you have to climb up a very steep flight of stairs in a tiny house, so it could be challenging...

Interesting food. I have never had anything like this before. Savoury yet sweet but a main. Chicken was pretty good. Sauces were good. I love the chilli padi. But giving a - 1 because the base of the soy milk drink had alot of sugar bits and stairs is really narrow (but I respect the stallholders climbing that with food tho). Cheap for the quality...
