Fukada Restaurant — Restaurant in Hà Nội

i have been to the restaurant a couple of times before today i have to say nothing special but still acceptable , the service is fast the food depends. Last night my wife and I went and we ordered a mix of sashimi, a potato salad, a tempura roll, a miso soup with clams, a seaweed salad and some cold noos. let's start with the mix of sashimi: unpresentable already to the eye, tuna and salmon of such a low quality that just looking at them made you want to put it back. in fact so it was I spent the whole night in the bathroom both my wife and I. when I ask for explanations the sushi man tells me that the quality is low because the sus ho is of local origin the situation is already not clear to me I ask to change it and only the tuna is replaced while everything else remains the same. the colors and smells of the whole dish are not the best but we continue to eat and I try not to let dinner get ruined. I'm not talking about the rest but as mentioned we spent the whole night in the bathroom. unfortunately I have no photos but I hadn't seen such an ugly fish for years and the way they treated us compared to Japanese customers was not equal, they gave us rotten stuff which they would never have done with Japanese customers. bad bad. i wont go back again and honestly i dont recommend it unless you are japanese they will treat you better. If this place was in Europe or Japan or if you were in another country you would have closed alredy. You bring people to hospital like that. I have lunch and dinner the same day as I found the food there were great. The sashimi lunch set is of great value and of good quality.

I went back for dinner and the oyster was excellent. The Hamo no Otoshi was great, the deep-fried small shrimp was also delicious. The only comment was the miso crab soup, they can do better with spending a little bit more time to prepare the soup.

My wife and I have now visited Fukada three times. Each time, the food has been excellent, the service friendly and efficient and the atmosphere, very authentic.
