A very short time ago I might have sworn that the perfect pizza could not be found in SE Asia. Go figure, right? However, I have been proved wrong. I had what might be the most perfect pizza in SE Asia here at Vinci last night. Cash, credit cards and probably e-wallet payment accepted. Staff is courteous and attentive but little English spoken.

Tucked away in the Japanese quarter of Hanoi is this truly lovely experience. Seating is scattered over 2-3 floors accessible by stairs only (that I could tell). The decor and ambiance is casual but not sloppy. You don't need to dress up to come here but you wouldn't feel bad about it if you did.

After ordering they bring a basket of various breads to munch on as you wait for your order. Had I known this I wouldn't have ordered the focaccia bread appetizer. However having done so, I don't regret a single thing. The bread was deliciously soft and basted with olive oil.

Their four seasons pizza is large enough for two people to share with an appetizer. Or order it all yourself and enjoy the leftovers! Quartered toppings are marinated artichoke hearts, black olives, marinated mushrooms and thinly sliced ham each over a light bed of marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese. The crust is thin but supports the toppings surprisingly well, with a pleasing bit of crunch to it and some chewiness. Baked in a serious pizza oven. Impeccable.

Sure, they have other Italian dishes, but for my money the star...

I will not recommend my friends/Relatives to visit this place in the future. Read detailed review below :

I don't know how others are rating this restaurant so high. Either those don't know what's good food or they become too happy seeing an overpriced menu. We went there for lunch, The restaurant had only 2 more tables. We ordered salad which was too much sour, no parmesan or any cheese into it, no nuts nothing just the lettuce leaves & vinegar, we complained & it was changed to the same thing but less vinegar version. After that we got Pasta, penne with tomato sauce which is the most basic dish of an Italian restaurant & they couldn't do it well. It was almost dry with very little tomato sauce, super little Parmesan on top of it. It seems, they did all the cost cutting only from my portion, to keep the restaurant profitable. My friend's pasta came while I was almost finished with my pasta. She said her Spaghetti can't be considered even good. Dessert was horrible. Portion size was so small that after spending about 15$ each we were still hungry. From this place only I booked a table at 4Ps Pizza went to eat food there & were very happy with the food & services. Something worth mentioning : Someone came from the kitchen to inform us that their Chef was not available at the restaurant. I guess the Vietnamese assistant made our food which is totally fine but at least make sure that good quality food is going out of...

Yesterday evening, I arrived at this eatery with a singular goal in mind - to savour their renowned steak. Opting for a spot at the counter bar, I was afforded the chance to witness the kitchen staff in full throttle as they cooked up a storm. The bustling activity in the kitchen provided ample fodder for conversation whenever I ran short of topics to chat about with my companion.

My expectations could have been higher due to a previous unfavourable dining experience. However, I was elated and pleasantly surprised by what I experienced this time. The steak was exceptionally tender and juicy, and the black pepper sauce added a delightful burst of genuinely mouth-watering flavours. The roasted garlic was also a lovely treat that left a lasting impression on my taste buds. It's worth noting that pairing the steak with a glass of red wine was the perfect complement to the meal.

I began my meal with two starter options and appetizers: the savoury mushroom soup and the Provolone Grigliato dish. While the soup satisfied my taste buds, I found the Provolone Grigliato to be too salty for my liking. This made me contemplate whether I would opt for it again.

The restaurant is a charming and intimate setting, perfect for a romantic evening. However, sitting at the counter bar can be challenging, especially during the scorching...
