Randomly found this while out on a walk, looking for dinner and decided to give it a try! We got the chicken quesadilla, mushroom pasta, and ribeye steak. The chicken quesadilla was good, had a sweet and tangy sauce on it- sort of an Asian twist on Tex-mex. Next, we got the mushroom pasta. I really enjoyed it!! It was garlicky, creamy, and overall had excellent flavor from the mushrooms. Since traveling SEA, it’s been difficult to find good pasta dishes but this really hit the spot! However, I will note that the actual pasta noodles are not authentic at all. The noodles are definitely store brand dry pasta (like Barilla). But in my experience, I haven’t found fresh pasta any where in Vietnam so I won’t be too picky! Overall, highly recommend the mushroom pasta. As for the ribeye, it was cooked perfectly (asked for medium rare). Flavor was great, sauce was a nice addition, and I loved the rosemary and large flakes of salt on it. I also have to note that our waitress was great! She didn’t speak any English (and I don’t speak Vietnamese) but she used a translator and was...
Read moreWe wanted to get something small to eat before a concert and decided to visit Muoi Charcoal. It is a fusion restaurant that offers both Vietnamese and Western dishes. Since we didn’t want to be bloated for the concert :D we only got Caesar salad, charcoal grilled squid and chilli salt fries. Everything was delicious and we especially enjoyed the squid. Also, the fries were thin and crispy just how we like it! Beside the meal we also ordered their homemade plum liqueur and were so glad that we did. We recommend this drink to anyone who likes their alcohol slightly on the sweeter side and very light. We are going to visit again soon to buy some bottles as gifts for sure!
Next time we are probably going to come when we are more hungry and try more of their main dishes :) Also you can get seats at the bar and watch as the chef makes food in...

We ordered almost all menu 😅. Some dishes I didn’t take photos. I like the Fried chicken wing, tacos and the curry rice.
We came here to drink wine, and I ordered Apricot spirit in one big bottle and one smaller, but their taste were different, confirmed by all of us. The small one was a bit salty. And both of them were light, not the best apricot spirit as I have known.
The space is small. I asked about a private table because we could be too loud and maybe we could disturb other people around, but they seemed to not remember that request.
It’s still a nice place to go with friends but if your friends love spirits, I...
