I really really wanted to give this place 4 stars. But while food is good it's not amazing. And I paid 105k for one plate of food, rice (large portion at least) and soup( which I didn't care for). The place is tucked away in back alley and inside is super clean and nice. The menu ranges from multiple dishes, to choose your own separate items. But compared to all you can eat veg place down road. I kinda feel price for amount of food wasn't worth it. Quality wise everything was pretty good. Staff is friendly. Maybe one cheaper combo options is a better deal. I choose most expensive one. Which I assumed would have best options and amount of food. So my full bill for water and some 2000 dong charge. Oh my, such an amazing find!!! So many delicious dishes to choose from!!! Last time here had #37 a mixed vegetable curry with a flavorful sauce and thinly sliced pieces of pineapple. This evening I tried one of their menus that included sautéed greens, fried tofu in tomato sauce, Vietnamese boiled pate, sautéed pork, soup and steamed rice. BEWARE everywhere meat is mentioned there is a delicious vegetarian creation to be enjoyed. I can’t believe how creatively and delicious they made the ‘pork’ in this menu. I don't get why this old favourite doesn't have a higher review score, but I'm Vietnamese and I've been to several veg places in Hanoi (including buffets) and am consistently disappointed. The price may be cheaper elsewhere but that's about it. Maybe I haven't found the right place yet with good price point and good food. This is good homecooking, better if you order a la carte than set menu, but the set menu is a nice option if you're alone.
