During my staying here I couldn’t help comparing this hotel to Muong Thanh in Ho Chi Minh City. I used to have so good experience in the other hotel that I booked this place for my vacation believing that the service and room quality would be the same, but I was much disappointed.
First, the room is old, extremely dark, the floor smells wet and stinks, the door is not soundproof so basically every morning I had to listen to the staffs yelling at each other outside my room.
Next, the included breakfast is horrible, personally I don’t mind if hotels use left-over ingredients, but I was annoyed by how careless they cooked the food, it tasted like food that was cooked by someone who hated cooking. I suggest, if you ever happen to stay here, just walk out and step in any local food stalls, have a proper meal and get to know what authentic Vietnamese cuisines are.
Last but not least, DON’T COME TO THE SPA. The spa is a big scam. I came there for a 60-min massage but the masseuse only did it for 30 minutes or something, well I didn’t mind because it seemed the massage was just their secondary job and I didn’t fcking care about their primary service here. Ridiculously, they DEMANDED for tipping. Even though I had already paid for my session as mentioned in the price list, even though I said twice that I wouldn’t tip them, they kept following me and asking me for that money. So, the hotel doesn’t pay the spa staffs, does it? Such a ridiculously crazy scam.
The receptionist was nice, but I will...
Read moreWriting on behalf of a very close contact of mine who has Checked in TODAY (25-July). The non smoking room has been booked and requested in advance referring to the list of official approved 4-Stars Hotel for quarantine.
Unfortunately, on upon arrival, my close contact is very shocked by the following points; The hotel room corridor has Very STRONG cigarette smell though we have requested for non smoking room. The non-smoking room has strong cigarette smell also. The carpets are stained Internet connection is poor
Price is definitely not cheap in view of the hotel quality and standard. If the hotel is not able to live up to what has been published, please kindly be more transparent about your hotel condition so that we (consumer) have the right to know, review and decide when we make booking. This is definitely misleading to consumer.
We are now talking about hotel quarantine for 14 days, not just 1 day.
My close contact is allergic and sensitive towards cigarette smell. We are upset how he could get through these fourteen days.
For the ppl who is planning to come to Hanoi, and needs to make hotel booking for quarantine. I strongly DO NOT recommend this hotel if you are not able to accept what I have pointed out.
Side note: the meals on first day are...
Read morethis hotel is actually located in the city center. The hotel properties are outdated but still function well. I stayed 3 days, because the price offered was cheap, with various hotel facilities in general. Hot water works well, there is a bathtub, complete toilets, cable tv channels, although the channels are limited. AC still functions well, even though it looks outdated. The bed is still comfortable, only 2 pillows. The room I live in is next to the home industry, so in the afternoon until the evening I can hear the sound of people working. The breakfast menu varies, although not much, the taste of the food is not comfortable.
Overall at that price, it's still quite decent to stay, the staff is friendly, the bell boy is...
