The worst experience I've had in many years of traveling. I arrived in Hanoi very tired after a long flight on a 40-degree heat day, a 1-hour transfer from the airport, plus time searching for the address because the published address was incorrect, and upon arrival they told me my reservation was canceled and they were already fully booked. I was so tired, with 40-degree heat and urgent pending work to do. Needing a place to sleep and work—and the fatigue inherent in a long trip, and with no one who spoke English adequate for a conversation—I had to accept that they sent me to a disgusting, tiny room elsewhere. Unfortunately, I had no other option and had to spend a night there, in a room full of insects, where the air conditioning didn't work, and where I later realized the sheets were dirty and stained. They charged me the same amount of money as the studio with a balcony I had originally booked. Next to this smelly and small room where they sent me, was the room where they kept the cleaning supplies and dirty sheets, so the noise of the employees would start nonstop in the early hours of the morning. A terrible experience that put my job at risk and caused me to go through a terrible experience and a waste of time and energy. Please pay attention and do not book with any "eco" that you find on Booking, Agoda, or Google. They have rooms in different parts of the city and will send you to any of the ones they want, regardless of where you previously made the reservation (I had booked about two weeks...
Read moreFake reviews. Don’t stay here, our 3 night stay was dreadful. The photos don’t match reality (or are photos of the cafe downstairs which are completely unrelated to the accomodation). Location is adequate, still a 20 min walk to old town and main attractions. Our room was extremely basic, no windows no natural light nor fresh air and very poor quality for the price. My daughter and I paid extra for a family apartment (#702), but it was tiny, suffocating and the bad plumbing meant it stank constantly of raw sewage. The assistant manager promised to “move us to a better room” when one became available, but we never heard from him again. I was seriously concerned over what would happen if there was a fire in the building as egress was not good from 7th floor. To say the rooms have a “Kitchen” is an exaggeration, although there is a sink, small bar fridge and kettle, there is no microwave, toaster, no cutlery or crockery supplied and not even a basic table and chair to sit at. No communal kitchen either nor sitting place to eat. There is a laundry for independent use (bring laundry powder). Bathroom very basic, shower not seperate so the whole room is flooded every time after showering. Bedding was clean, however only sheets provided and the room was cold in the night (late Nov) with no blankets. Aircon worked well but it was impossible to sleep with it on as the aircon light display was so intensely bright it lit up the entire room. What a disappointment I don’t...

The facilities are poor and sparse. In the bathroom, the shower is connected to the sink faucet. The check-in area is just a small stool placed under an awning on the sidewalk, with a computer used for check-in. The rooms—more like hostel rooms—are only suitable for backpackers looking for a place to crash for the night.
I booked a room for 500,000 VND, yet there wasn’t even a single bottle of water in the room. I called the front desk, hoping for an apology and maybe a bottle of water (even if they charged me, at least they should show some level of service). But no—they simply blamed the owner for cutting costs and not providing water in the rooms. So I had to go outside and buy one myself.
This place is nothing more than a budget lodging, and I regret spending 500,000 VND. Reading other guests' complaints, I only see the hotel responding with generic thanks and promises to improve service. But with such conditions, they’re clearly just replying for the sake of it. It’s baffling how they manage to sell rooms on reputable OTA platforms. A terrible experience—worse than any bad experience...
