Hotels Mia House — Hotel in Hà Nội

Worst experience in 3 months in Vietnam. The whole building is in the shadow of much bigger building nearby which means that there is barely any sun-light and it's very cold, even when it sunny and warmer outside. The room was worn-out and dirty, the bed extremely noisy, probably about to fall apart. This is the grimmest and depressing place I've been in age.

Edit : on top of that all, they changed my booking from done to cancelled in Agoda so I could not put a review there. Yes, you read that right : I paid for 2 nights in that pos hotel, Ive done one and they cancelled it on Agoda because they knew my review wouldnt be nice. A month later Im still trying to get Agoda to change this.

Long story short, the place is a dump, they will not refund you anything if you complain and they will prevent you to write review wherever you booked. Avoid this...

We we're given the wrong room in the hopes that we would not notice. Obviously they had over booked, we could move into the room we did book the following day but not until 3 o'clock which was so annoying as we had plans for the day. The first room was terrible, dark and all furniture was well worn, bed was broken, extremely noisy. There was a smell of sweat that wouldn't go away. The second room was much nicer but still not worth the money. It was advertised as an apartment, which it was not, very misleading...

Nice folk but... grimy, noisy, wifi or TV don't work in my room. WATER PUMP KEEPS ME AWAKE ALL NIGHT. Hard BOARD BED WITH INADEQUATE mattress. Washing machine on filthy dump of roof through small access hole on 5th floor roof. Brings thoughts of Viet Kong tunnels trying to negotiate it. 2 kids seem to struggling running it & lack knowledge of basic expectations or don't care. Impossible to get a hold of initially. Moving...
