I booked a table at 4Ps Au Co for my son's birthday. Because the new restaurant is nice and I trusted the quality of service and food of 4Ps. However, today's experience was really bad and disappointed. The staff arranged a table for 6 people in a separate room, separated by a curtain. However, every time I wanted to ask or request something, I had to go out and find staff because there was no one on duty at the door. The food was served but the staff did not check the spoon and fork box. I had to leave the room and ask for 2 sets of plates. When I ordered food, I said that all the dishes would be served right away and I didn't need to wait as everyone was hungry. However, when everyone had finished eating and the crab noodles still hadn't served. I went out of the room to look for staff and asked, one guy said: "The noodles will be ready in 2 minutes, the kitchen is decorating the noodle plates." However, 15 minutes later, the food was still not there. Everyone waited tiredly because we wanted to finish all the savory dishes and order cakes and desserts to blow out the birthday candles for my child. The manager came in to apologize and offered a free piece of cheesecake. I refused. Then my child quickly blew out the candles and we just want to pay the bill to leave. The whole family was no longer in the mood to order dessert, the cake was still intact and I asked to pay for it. The cashier brought the bill up and said the manager wanted to offer a 30% discount on today's bill. Everyone was really tired at that time so I just wanted to pay quickly and leave. Read moreWe had always have very good dining experience at 4P Pizza in Cambodia and also at the other 4P restaurants in Hanoi. It was our last night in Hanoi and we were looking forward to ending our trip with a treat at 4P. As we were in the vicinity of this particular store, we decided to head there at around 5pm. When we reached there we were the first in the queue. There were several waitresses huddled around the reception desk but none of them attended to us whilst a local couple who came after us was ushered in. When they came to us, the waitress told us that all dining tables except for the bar counter seats were occupied and the only available table seats would only be after 7pm. We didn’t want to wait so we decided to take up the offer and was seated at the bar counter seats on the 4th floor. When we reached the 4th floor we saw that the tables around us were largely unoccupied except for 2 tables! Nevertheless we went ahead to make our order thinking that perhaps the other tables were reserved. Although there were hardly any other diners around the food order took about 1/2 hour. When the food finally came the pizza was cold and tasteless… even the risotto we had was Luke warm! When we finally finished dining at around 7pm, the supposed occupied tables were still empty! Needless to say it was an extremely disappointing dining experience!
The saving grace we had for this experience was the waitress that was assigned to us. She was rather polite and apologetic for the tardy service.

Read moreWe came with a group of 10 people yesterday, both the service and food were amazing if it weren’t for what happened towards the end. After we paid (split 5 ways for 5 couples), we were heading towards the elevator when our server said “Stop them, there is a problem with the payment”. After hearing her explain, we realized it was HER fault because she gave us all the same QR code, and apparently, only the first payment was successful (something to do with 4Ps system - she was supposed to generate a QR for each payment but she did not). HOWEVER, money was withdrawn from all of our accounts regardless. So we had no choice but to double pay, with the promise that the money will be refunded to our accounts in 5-7 days. That is fine, no worries, mistakes happen. But what makes it NOT okay was the attitude of the server, who made a scene and acted like we dined and dashed or something? Furthermore, when I asked her if she can provide any guarantee that the money will be refunded to us, she had a flippant attitude and said something along the lines of “our restaurant is here, we are not running away or anything” as if what I asked was ridiculous or silly. Excuse me, but you are inconveniencing us, and when we asked a question that is very much within our rights, we get attitude?
