Extremely Disappointed – Unacceptable Service

We had a truly unpleasant experience at Saffron India Restaurant Hanoi. Despite previous reviews highlighting the same issue, they still refused to provide even basic drinking water. The owner’s response claiming it was “not explained properly” is completely false—it was very clear, and it happened to us too.

After placing our order, we waited 30 minutes without any update. When we asked about the delay, we were told the chef was busy preparing Pan-Asian food and would only start our Indian dishes afterward. This is absurd for a restaurant that claims to specialize in Indian cuisine.

First Indian food in Hanoi, looked around for a lot but found the best. Butter chicken and naan is a must try here. So soft and tender. Well post this I had a situation running late for an order from my side. But Dora and Swamy were so kind enough to understand a customer’s situation.
