Samwon Restaurant — Restaurant in Hà Nội

Pass by this restaurant several times and I didn’t expect this will be crowded during weekdays. Compared to other Korean BBQ, the menu was just a basic dishes with several kind of beefs and porks. They have Korean shop as well. For me the food was great, service is an average but since the staff grilled food for you at the table and explained everything that I asked. I still give them 5 stars. I haven’t walked up the the 2nd floor but if you have table at 1st floor, the food will bring out very quickly. Keep in mind it’s will be a lot of smoke and hot. Mostly young people, couples and Korean. You still can bring kids but they won’t have space to play around since all tables are packed. Will come back with friends because I like the beef...

Poor service. Food tastes very good but staff’s attitude is not acceptable. No smiling, no talking, very unfriendly. We asked the manager to bring us perilla leaves (kkaennip), then he lied they do not have this kind of leaves. I know he lied because another staff brought us perilla leaves 15 minutes ago. We showed him the last leaf on the table and after that he brought us some.

We will never come back to this...

Still have lot of customer visit here for Barbecue on the top floor, but there are too many Koreans, and too difficult to call staffs. It's meant to be like korean restaurant in real life but now a dayz i don't know it's worth it or not anymore. And too much of Korean guyz come here with their Vietnamese girl friend, i don't judge people about that but still...
