The Lanes Café Tea Room — Restaurant in Hà Nội

A very pretty and quaint tea shop that specializes in tea sets and cakes. We came late but there weren't many people, the place is quite quiet and good for conversations. The cakes we got were the brulee burnt cheesecake and earl grey cake, while drinks were a matcha latte and oolong cream cheese. Cakes were delicious and weren't overtly sweet, drinks are of high quality and tasted authentic. Though, the space is quite small and cramped upstairs because of the amount of small tables upstairs. This was such a treat, it's literally like walking into a tearoom at home, cute British tearoom styling and proper British cream tea set. Excellent quality food that literally tastes like you're in an English tearoom, the scones were cooked perfectly and to have smoked salmon was such a treat! This was everything I need after having been travelling for 4 months. It really felt like I walked through Doraemon’s magic door and went back to a British tearoom at The Lanes. Brought back so many beautiful memories when I was living in Brighton 7 years ago.
