A very disappointing experience after reading the glowing reviews. Being a strict vegetarian with an intolerance to mushrooms and having read the good reviews of best veggie food in Hanoi, I booked a table online well in advance. Responses were quick and efficient via email and they took on board my dietary requirements assuring me that there were plenty of mushroom free dishes. Looked like a positive start. On arrival, Entrance to the restaurant is pretty theatrical and was void of any diners when we got there. We got shown to our table on the 3rd floor and got given a drinks menu all in Vietnamese language which eventually got replaced by an English version. We enquired if beers were available and were informed they only had zero alcohol beers. We then asked for a glass of red wine which was on the drinks menu only to be told that they only served by the bottle and not glass. Pointed out that on the menu it said we could order by the glass, we were told the menu was 4 years old hence the information wasn’t current !!! We settled for a glass of water. The waitress left us the food menu and though she appeared to have known of our mushroom intolerance, she had no inclination to guide us through the menu which seemed to have a lot of information of the health benefits of each dish (a theatrical description). we selected fresh vegetable spring rolls to start with only to be told they did not have that particular type available that day, instead they had another type which didn’t appeal to us. By this time frustration was beginning to set in and we decided we’d had enough of the place and decided to leave and instead stumbled upon an Italian restaurant not far away with a much more warm ambience and flexible menu choices. A blessing in disguise is how I see it at not having to endure a theatrical ambience and having to eat something...

Venturing into the vibrant culinary scene of Vietnam, I stumbled upon a hidden gem that left my taste buds in awe . Nestled in the heart of Hanoi, this establishment offers a tantalizing array of vegetarian Vietnamese cuisine that celebrates the beauty of natural ingredients.

From the moment I took my first bite, I knew I was in for a culinary journey like no other. The lotus stem dishes, a true delicacy in Vietnamese cuisine, stole the show with their crisp texture and delicate flavor. Each bite was a symphony of freshness and aroma, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to using the finest ingredients.

But the delights didn't stop there. The vegetarian soup, a staple in Vietnamese gastronomy, was a comforting bowl of goodness that warmed both the body and soul. Bursting with fragrant herbs and hearty vegetables, it was a testament to the rich culinary heritage of Vietnam.

What truly set apart was its ability to elevate vegetarian cuisine to new heights. With each dish expertly crafted to highlight the natural flavors of the ingredients, every bite was a revelation – a testament to the culinary mastery of the chefs.

But perhaps what impressed me the most was the passion and dedication evident in every aspect of the dining experience. From the warm hospitality of the staff to the inviting ambiance of the restaurant, [Name of the Restaurant] exudes a sense of authenticity and charm that is truly unmatched.

In a world where vegetarian dining options are often limited, this place stands out as a beacon of excellence. Whether you're a devout vegetarian or simply looking to explore new culinary horizons, promises a dining experience that is as unforgettable as it...

Not a vegan restaurant, but a vegetarian restaurant. I do not recommend going for the following reasons. Firstly, I ordered mushroom soup, which was pictured as mushrooms in clear broth, and had no mention of dairy on the menu. Came out full of cream. When we politely complained about this, they would not take it back. As not all in our group was vegan, we said ok - but make sure everything else comes out vegan. Next thing, the 'vegetable bread' comes out covered in melted cheese. We complain again, but have to argue heavily about it because they do not want to take it back and wanted to make us pay for it (we were certainly not going to do so). Other dishes that came out were ok. 'Japanese tofu with tomato based sauce' had no tomato based sauce and was just a few tiny squares of flavorless tofu. Most of what I ate was the two serves of fried rice, which could have been prepared much much cheaper at home. Very disappointed with this place, very bad service and bland, small servings of food, despite being quite expensive. Also, we sat on a platform among a goldfish pond, which sounds nice but there were several old electrical cables from the kitchen hanging in the water. Hugely unsafe. Unbelievably negligent that they would have such a huge and obvious hazard.
