I went out with my family for lunch after a long morning. I chose cheering to eat as tao li canting already closed at that time. the waiters(girls) were very rude, they talked to my mom like my mom was stupid and know nothing. when me and my mom asked for more bowl and chopsticks, they glared at me and my mom, also took very long to bring it out. and i have to sit in-front of a table with old men, one of them vomited continuously while I was eating there, it was extremely disgusting. after that the waiters still treated us poorly, they kept being rude and when my mom asked for spoon because they didnt bring it when my mom asked for, the waiter(girl) completely ignored my mom. but then another waiter heard it and said she’ll bring it but she then sat down at her table. even though, the food wasn’t very bad. i ordered fried chicken wing with fish sauce, soup and heart(i don’t really remember what they called because it was in Vietnamese and quite long to remember). the heart and soup was pretty good but the chicken was very oily and salty. overall, if i have no other choice then i will come here for food but if i dont have to then i would never ever come back here again unless taoli...

It makes a great first impression. The building is unique and attractive. Stunningly so, really. It is laid out well and service tends to be prompt and competent.
The beer selection is better than most of the beer halls, though the really interesting stuff is bottled and imported (and so, so dear). They would be wise to stock some of the better local brews. This is doubly true given that their draught beer selection is very dull. Almost all fizzy yellow import lagers.
I've not tried the food, but large groups of Vietnamese diners seem satisfied with it whenever I go. Pretty standard Hanoi menu oriented toward large group dining.
This is one of my goto places for large group business drinking outings, but it is often too loud for anything like important...

We ordered a bottle of wine, a beer and fresh spring rolls. The service was very slow even though they was greatly overstaffed. After a while I got a closed beer on the table and the fresh spring rolls arrived shortly after. Still no wine. The fresh spring rolls did not taste fresh or good in any way. After a good 10 minutes, still with a closed beer on the table, we asked for the bill. None of which they understood. We got 3 different kinds of bills with different amounts. Nobody spoke English, google translate they also didn’t understand. As while later we paid for god knows what and left.
