Pizza 4P’s Tràng Tiền — Restaurant in Hà Nội

Various 4ps around but this one is located in the French quarter of Hanoi, venue has 2 dining levels, various table sizes and a counter area if you want to watch the pizza chefs do their magic.. as we did! Dined for a birthday yesterday and felt like something different, we decided on this place. Make sure you book online if it's a peak night. You can put your table request in there. Fantastic service from the female on duty (seemed like a supervisor) and from the main waiter that served us (I think his name was Kong), always there at the right time to take an order, remove a plate, bring water without us having to ask. Honestly felt so lucky to be looked after by him. So many fantastic pizza combos, pastas look great as well and they have 2 vego options (1 is a limited menu item and I've added a pic), a few pescatarian options too. Pizzas had heaps of vego options and seafood too (as well as meats of course). Pizza is a very thin base, soft crust, large size but not heavy because it's so thin. They'll do half-half or further splits, thereby facilitating you trying different toppings. We had a small cheese board (perfect size to start but not fill you up before the main), red wine was great (as a rule, i generally don't order wine in Asia) with wines from Australia, south Africa and other countries. Pizzas we selected the mushroom, spicy seafood with smoked cheese, spicy prawns and salmon miso cream. Overall, all great. If I'm fussy the sauce on the prawn pizza was a little sweet for my taste (though a squeeze of lime balanced it out), the miso as well (this didn't stop us from enjoying all of them though). My favourite was the spicy seafood with smoked cheese. Also ordered the chocolate fondant and they surprised with a happy birthday song and a small bowl of their house made frozen yoghurt. The fondant was lovely, like a gooey chocolate pudding. The table set up provides wipes, tissues, chilli oil (spicy and delicious on the pizzas) pepper and honey, everything you may need. I would have liked a knife and fork as the middle of the spicy pizza was a bit wet, but we continued without. The space is well airconditioned, the upstairs toilets providing items a girl may need such as hairties, ear buds, mouthwash etc and showed thecare put into everything. We ate a lot so the bill came to about 950vd including 2 pizzas, small cheese board, a dessert, wine and coke. Could eat here for more like 600vd if you don't go crazy and the kitchen closes late too, so enjoy a rooftop bar first (i recommend moonlight sky bar) and then catch a grab over Loved watching the pizza chefs work and will return to try their pasta and another few pizza flavours. There’s many locations of 4P pizzas throughout Vietnam; However, this is one of the location within the walking street. There’s plenty of employees, however no one show any good service manner nor professionalism. The manager dressed in blue blouse at 9pm, during work hour, she’s meeting up with her family (son and husband) right in front of customers, which to me is super unprofessional. Starting from the host, he is clueless and unable to direct customers where to go and how long was the wait. We opted for takeout, yet no single employee came to take order. We waited for almost an hour before we able to receive our food. They tend to cater to foreigner and disregard the Vietnamese customer. All their employee let foreigner by pass our wait and only attentive to foreigner. If you’re Asian or Asian American, count your luck for good service. Staffs are clueless, decent staffing to customers ratio yet unable to accommodate guests efficiently. I personally believe this location needs to training to all the employees starting from the manager. Food is pretty decent but service is racist against their own race and unable to deliver any justification for such fine dining experience. I hope those coming to this establishment know what they’re up against. If you’re able to speak Vietnamese, just act like you’re a foreigner and perhaps you might receive a little bit better service. Pricing is on the higher end as compared to other food location nearby. Therefore, we hope their service should be as compared to their $pricing. Restroom: pretty dirty for such dining restaurant, it reeks of urine and trash can is full of trash. Food: we ordered crab paste spaghetti. It is pretty good and tasty. Food was pretty decent but we might not want to come back bc of their horrible service. We had to take it over across to the coffee shop nearby because their employees reserve seating for foreigner. Such a disgrace to our culture to receive such treatment. Sorry...
