I had the pleasure of dining at Gangnam BBQ House in Vietnam, and I can confidently say that it was an outstanding experience. While there were a few minor areas for improvement, I would rate this restaurant 3.8 stars.

The standout feature of this restaurant was the exceptional service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was perfect. They provided excellent recommendations and were always quick to refill our drinks and attend to our needs.

The food was also excellent, particularly the grilled meats. The beef and pork were both tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The side dishes were a great accompaniment and provided a good variety of flavors and textures. The only downside was that the portions were a bit smaller than expected, but this was made up for by the high quality of the food.

The ambiance of Gangnam BBQ House was also noteworthy. The decor was stylish and modern, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant was well-lit, and the music added to the overall ambiance without being too loud or distracting.

A well-known restaurant in the core of the Korean area in District 7. I've never had any other BBQ dine-in experiences besides of Gogi House, so I was pleasantly surprised by Gangnam. The service is astounding. They do everything to make you feel comfortable, along with grilling the meat for you and serving you in the best way possible. Before the meal, they serve you very cold water and refill for you if needed. The price was spot-on. NOTE: Along with the BBQ order, you will get LOTS of side dishes (kimchi, veggies, rolls) along with a soup and rice that they will refill time by time. Portions are BIG. The scallion pancake was a family-size one, which justifies the high price. The pork was delicious, served along with grilled kimchi. They can also provide a VIP room for you if you want some privacy. TL;DR It is definitely worth the price (although at least 3-4 people are preferred considering the portions), and we will definitely come back for a second round with a bigger group....

The rude waitress that was impatiently taking our order should have been a red flag to leave right then.

We saw the 4.3 reviews so wanted to try a new Korean BBQ place in D7.

The waitress rolled her eyes as we were going through the menu, she handed her notepad to her coworker because she refused to wait for us. Her coworker had the same negative attitude when we started placing orders. She said offensive words under her breath and didn’t realize our group understood Vietnamese.

We ordered brisket and short ribs which costs us 1.2M = $50 USD. It was definitely not worth the value for the taste or the poor customer service.
