"Confirmed table text only but we have no table" That's what the "head booking" at Bam Bam said to me when we had booked in advance but when we arrived at the restaurant, the receptionist had a bad attitude and chased us away.
1/ The attitude of the receptionists was VERY VERY BAD.
When I asked why I had booked in advance and the booking guy had sent a message "confirmed table" but when 7 of us arrived, they said "no table"? I received a condescending answer with raised eyebrows, no smile: "Wait a moment, I'll ask the head booking to come out and talk to you" No "yes, sure, miss, sorry, please wait" and no polite smile at all?
After we waited for too long standing in side and didn't see anyone coming, we went to the door to ask again and 20mins later, the head booking came out. 2/ The guy who claimed to be the "head booking" said: "... We just sent confirmed the table by text but that doesn't mean we have a table for you"
"Your table is listed as cocktail table in our booking but that mean no table and you have to stand while holding your drink all night"
"...We can't handle this problem now and i don't know how to handle this situation for you because it's too crowded today. Can you come back tomorrow or another day and I'll give you this or that." ("this or that"???)
I asked to call the manager out to talk but he avoids meeting us too.. Disappointing!
Bam Bam thinks the guest has a need to come to have fun or have to received this kind of terrible management? The lack of professionalism and the arrogant attitude of the receptionist? The head booking's excuse? Or the manager's avoidance of solving the problem?
I have never felt so disrespected at an establishment in my life. I have been to over ten countries, and this place is by far the worst experience I have ever had. My friend and I were ignored to the point where we had to ask the locals to order for us because the waiters would ignore us. I want to mention we understand bar etiquette and we waited and waited till it was our turn and it never came. Even when they looked at us they told us to wait and took everyone else’s order around us. The customers even noticed and asked us if they would like to order for us. The waiters even physically pushed us out of the way at times… I could not believe it. I do want to mention how much I loved the local customers because they were so kind and I do not think we would have gotten anything without them. My friend and I left trying to understand why we were treated this way and replayed the whole night wondering if we did anything to deserve this treatment but there just was no way because we understand we are in a country that is not our own and have been as respectful as possible. Honestly this was a very hurtful experience and I do not recommend whatsoever. Go at your own risk. I also want to add I have never written a review in my life, so this is how bad it was. Read moreI am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent visit to your bar on July . Unfortunately, my experience fell far below expectations and left me feeling not only disappointed but also uncomfortable.
Firstly, the music quality was extremely poor. The playlist was inconsistent, the sound system was distorted, and the volume was unbearably loud to the point where conversation became impossible. As a venue that promotes itself as a place to enjoy music and atmosphere, this was unacceptable.
Secondly, I was shocked by the way customers were treated. My friends and I felt pressured and even cornered into making unnecessary purchases. Staff members repeatedly insisted that we order more drinks despite us clearly stating that we were not interested at the time. This kind of aggressive upselling made the environment feel hostile rather than welcoming.
I believe that a good bar should provide not only good service and music but also respect for its customers’ comfort and choices. Unfortunately, my visit to your establishment did not reflect these values.
I hope you take this feedback seriously and address these issues promptly. I would appreciate it if you could respond and let me know what steps will be taken to improve the customer experience...
