Elegant Feel Inn — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

Very odd place. It's hybrid check in. Sometimes there are front desk people but more often there is no one. Front door is a 6 digit code to get in. That was somewhat annoying to have to deal with. My room (402) was the large balcony room on the 4th floor. Balcony is not usable. The AC struggled many times to keep the room cool. Nice large refrigerator and smart TV. Bed was comfortable and somewhat soft. Duvet would have struggled to fit two people. Plenty of outlets and table space to place things. Bathroom is a wet bath which is a bit annoying. I had no clue what was needed to get my refreshed. They never did it in the week I was there. The is no lift. The stairwell isn't as cramped as other reviews have made it out to be. Affordable room in a central location with easy access to buses. The alley is quiet and safe. It gets slightly noisy at night from the bar nearby, but not enough to disturb sleep much (I stayed on the 2nd floor).

The hotel uses self check-in and check-out, which is quick and straightforward. Rooms and basic amenities are clean, and there’s free drinking water available anytime.

One downside is there’s no elevator, so carrying luggage up to the 2nd floor can be tiring. However, for just around 450k VND per night, it’s hard to find a better option downtown.

I had a great stay at Elegant View Inn. The room was surprisingly spacious, with plenty of room to spread out and feel comfortable. It was also kept clean and well presented, which made it an easy place to relax in after a busy day. The location worked perfectly for me, with so many cafés, restaurants, and sights within walking distance, and transport close by when I wanted to go further.
