Place is really warm despite having aircon. Before we're eating mosquitoes were already feeding on us. Flies were all around too.
Shrimp pancake was huge and deep fried. Tried snails with pepper. Also ordered claypot catfish which tasted like salted fish, the dish was so salty we were unable to finish it. Before rice arrived at our table, we felt really full and asked for cancellation instead of wasting rice. Someone took our request, however later on another server came with the rice. Before it was even placed on our table we said we already cancelled, however she insisted "no cancellation" and forced us to accept the rice that can feed 3 people. That was just vnd 60k how much can you earn from it that you rather throw the rice away? And obviously rice is mass cooked not specifically cooked for our table we can't comprehend why it is not cancellable.
Absurd pricing for how the food tastes. I don't feel welcomed at all and staffs seem rude. Worst service I've encountered in Vietnam, most Vietnamese people are so kind and warm in other restaurants. Is decent service too much to ask for given that we are paying service charges on top of the food price? Tourists trap.
Oh and I realised at the start of my meal there was already sauce at my table which I didn't think of much and actually used it for my food. However by the end of the meal when looking at the other empty tables around none of them has sauce on table ready to be used. Could they have forgotten to clear the previous patron's sauce and I end up eating someone else's saliva? Will never find...
Read moreI didn’t believe the review 4.1 I think it could have been better unfortunately it doesn’t deserve much more stars. So upset with the quality price. This place is literally a tourist trap and not good. All the waiters don’t have a good attitude they are not friendly. It’s 6:00 pm and they say some products are sold out. We end up ordering the beef because they didn’t have the shrimp one and it was not that great honestly I was upset. Second fish the spring roll was blend so blend. Yesterday I had one that was much much much better and cheaper. Vegetable is old. These kind of morning glory is for soup. I love morning glory but don’t order the one from this restaurant it’s the first time I’m upset like this in a restaurant in Vietnam. The place is beautiful. The menu is not very convienent… they end up giving an iPad to order but what you see is not what you get. Sadly I don’t recommend this place. I don’t usually like to leave bad reviews but even the manager wasn’t friendly I guess because it’s a super busy...
Read moreAs a tourist, I feel compelled to share my experience at this establishment. If you're seeking authentic local Vietnamese food, I would recommend exploring other places that offer better value for your money.
We opted for their family combo, but unfortunately, the fish was excessively salty, the fried morning glory was drenched in oil, and the pickled cabbage soup with beef was overwhelmingly sour.
While there were several servers present, their level of attentiveness was lacking. Even when we called for the bill, the server's response was unprofessional and impatient, with a mere "er er er" as a reply. Their overall demeanor was unfriendly.
Furthermore, the cushions were unclean and poorly maintained, and to our dismay, we discovered a dead cockroach behind the wooden chair.
Considering these factors, I regret to say that I will not be returning to this establishment. I cannot recommend it to others, as it does not justify the amount of...
