What a gem of a find! This is our 2nd visit in 3 weeks, and that's saying a lot with the multitude of excellent choices in Thao Dien. What's special about this small, charming French Bistro? It's home cooking French foods using fresh ingredients, cooked by owner and chef Tony himself. The French Onion Soup is made with a rich Pho's broth. The melt in your mouth Beef Bourguignon is accompanied by a mash sweet potato with carrot. The Duck leg is crispy on the outside and soft, juicy on the inside. The Tony's wagyu burger came with a cheese sauce tangoed with mango slices. We finished with a soft, creamy creme brulee and a rich chocolate cake. No pictures on this visit, but we'll save them for next time! The best part besides the delicious foods? All that just to tell you, I can’t...
Read moreTony Bistro is exactly the kind of place you want to come back to : fresh ingredients, flavorful dishes, and a menu that offers a beautifully balanced twist on classic French cuisine without overdoing it. That’s where its charm lies.
The Tony Burger is an absolute knockout, and the veal blanquette is pure comfort food done right. Don’t miss the foie gras, and whatever you do, save room for dessert — Tony’s signature fraisier is a must-try!
To top it all off, the chef is not only talented but also incredibly friendly and passionate about his food, he loves to talk about each dish and share his story. Whether it’s for a casual dinner or a special occasion, I 100% recommend Tony Bistro.
They also offer an excellent catering service, with the same attention to quality and taste. And the value for money is truly impressive.
