Our previous dinner experience was outstanding. However today’s (6/28/24) lunch was very frustrating. We notified the server that we were short on time. The server assured us that there was plenty of time. We did not get a chance to even see our desserts that came with our set lunches. We waited 10 minutes after our mains were cleared, we could not wait any longer. I was very upset when I left, yet the server could not even offer an apology. No one even thanked us for coming in as we left. A simple apology or a thank you for coming in would have rectified the situation. Another small but significant detail is a different server handed us the bill from the bar. Please have the professional courtesy to walk over to our table to hand us our bill. This is lazy, undisciplined and I expect better from a high end restaurant. The food is outstanding but I will not return because of the service. What a shame, this WAS one of my favorite restaurants. I hope ownership or management will receive this feedback and make the necessary...
Read moreThis is the second time I've been to that place. The food is amazing—not only the taste but also the presentation is nice too.
We ordered smoked salmon for starters, and main course we ordered seafood spaghetti, duck confit, especially the boeuf bourguignon, which is probably their signature dish. For dessert, we had chocolate mousse, crème brûlée, and nutty brioche, which were all very sweet. In the first time, I ordered the duck magret, which was nice too. However, this time I forgot to order the steak fries, which is new dish and they have on promotion—buy one, get one free. On my research, luckily, they still have it so I will definitely be back to try.
Besides, the staff is so friendly, and the prices are reasonable for everyone, as well as the vibe is soft and chill. For all of those reason, why I not to...
Read moreI thought the affiliated resto of a hotel does hv some quality guarantee but turned out it disappointed me badly. The "tender rosbif" I ordered to be medium but turned out it is medium well almost well done, and not to mentioned it was quite tough to chew. Creme brulee was fair, the caramel crisp was quite nicely burnt. The nutty brioche is a so-called signature dish but oh no, just dun try, trust me, u will find it nth special at all and it is a sheer disappointment. According to the food performance, this doesn't deserve the price. I quite regret I didn't hv dinner in Quan1 but dash back to hv such a...
