M Village Living Nam Kỳ Khởi Nghĩa — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

M Garden is a co-living idea for short stay. It makes tourist feel like home but not as luxury as hotel stay. Which is friendly for people who love to stay like home. They also provide key card only for customer to get access into the place. Welcomed common area and it doesn’t look like an office at all at the reception desk. Overall I feel closer to Vietnam.

Highlight of my stay:

One of the staff- Minh Anh, she is very helpful throughout my stay. She could speak English well enough for tourist to understand and also helped me to communicate with grab driver for several time. When I ask for a special request, she also took extra steps to help. Kind and gentle for all of my problems.

Room:

I stayed in the Duplex unit, it comes with mini kitchen. The living room area and toilet is spacious for 1-2 person. I highly recommended htheir shampoo and body wash which comes with unique smell and friendly to my body and hair. The bedroom is on the top level with limit height space, just beware of your head.

Self service laundry is definitely remarkable about this place. I came in with pile of dirty laundry and left with only clean clothes after 3 weeks traveling around in Vietnam. Less hectic for me to find a place for laundry and the service is free! They do provide detergent. Just bring your dirty clothes.

*Just to be aware that laundry service is not available at 12am to 6am to avoid loud noise.

Things to improve: Duplex unit and overall quality

The duplex unit higher level is not guarded well with safety bars. If you’re bringing children for this trip, I would say is not safe to leave your child on the top level at duplex unit.

Sound proof for each room needs to be improved. I can hear big movements(moving luggage / chatting/ opening or closing doors) around the house and thought someone is looking for me. Especially the door bell at the front door, it sounded as close as someone is ringing my...

Stayed at M Village The Garden for 3 nights during Dec 2022 in the Duplex Apartment that came in a loft setting with a queen sized bed.

The room was clean and extremely comfortable. Security was fantastic with not only CCTV around the compound but also a secured front gate that can only be accessed with a key card.

Aside from how satisfied we were with the room, another major plus point would be how friendly and helpful the security tending the compound was. Not only did he guided us on how to operate the dryers and washer, he greets us warmly each time we crossed paths.

While M Village The Garden is situated slightly out of the main shopping districts, the walk from the compound to the main area is pleasant and doesn’t take too long.

A minor setback was probably the construction noises from next door however it’s evident that the construction would just be a temporary issue.

We would love to visit the other properties M Village has when visiting Saigon in the future after such a great experience...

It's located in district 1 quite inside the alley but not hard to find because it have signboard in the junction and the road is pretty straight forward.

This hotel has very much to offer. It is very aesthetic and minimalist so every corner you might find pretty to capture from your camera. The place is very clean, well maintained and looks new. In term of price it is very competitive. The room is studio type and space is huge for 2 people. The staff also very helpful and welcoming. Even remind me on WhatsApp regarding on check in and checking out. Complete facilities provided like water dispenser, laundry machine, kitchen, hot shower and refrigerator. It is by far one of the best stays that i have ever experienced.

The only regret is we checked in at 7pm which is quite late. I wish i was checking in on time. Overall I enjoyed my stay so much and could recommend everyone who visits Saigon to stay here. I'm looking forward to another stay...
