Absolutely perfect and faultless.

If you are thinking of booking Mai House Saigon for your stay, I wholeheartedly recommend this fine establishment. My partner and I stayed her for a truly magical 9 days, exploring the best of Ho Chi Minh and soaking up the local culture. This hotel was a standout aspect of our trip, made truly so comfortable and exemplary by the amazing staff.

From the moment our taxi dropped us off from the airport, the valet and door staff were truly exceptional. Every single member of staff greeted and welcomed us with a genuine smile. The checkout process involved welcome drinks and was guided by staff member Vi (or spelled Vy). The rooms are beautifully presented, great A/C and comfortable bed, housekeeping was consistent and thorough, and the lobby itself is so beautiful and grand, one just feels such a sense of calm sitting there. I believe the concierge staff called Duy was also fantastic at helping us with our requests. Please pass on our thanks to all your lovely team members. Overall, the optimum location, quietness, and accessibility of the hotel means that it’s a fantastic place to stay if you want to be near District 1 without all the noise.

Breakfasts here are 10/10. The layout is super easy to navigate, the selection is fantastic, such a large variety to choose from with an extensive team to facilitate a truly delicious and comfortable breakfast. As we stayed here for 9 nights, we would look forward to our daily breakfasts to start the day exploring the rest of the city. Again, all members of staff display such levels of professionalism and warmth.

I had the pleasure of visiting the tranquil spa on my first night here. Nhi was incredible and helped me with my jet-lagged fueled insomnia by delivering the best foot massage I’ve ever had the pleasure of receiving - I fell asleep on the massage bed with such relief! Please pass on my hearty thanks to her. We also managed to visit the splendid rooftop bar, and I regret that I did not get the bar manager’s name but he was so welcoming and charismatic.

We hope to be back during our next stay in HCM. Thank you for such a magical first impression of your...

Superb hotel 🏨 . 💕 Immediately fell in love with the warmth hospitality of the staffs. The concierge was especially helpful and very patient in guiding me to nice affordable places to eat 🍴 and 🛒🛍 shop on the paper map provided by the hotel. Thumbs up to Lam!👌🏻

The bathtub 🛁 is an instant relief after a long, tiring day with aromatic lemongrass bath salt. 🧖🏻‍♂️🧖🏻‍♀️🧖🏻

Food is delish. 💗🥢 Tried their ala carte dinner and daily breakfast buffet spread which have exceptionally wide variety; all which are very yummy from local 🍜🍲 to Western 🥓🌭🍳 to even piping hot 🥟 dim sum, 🍣 sushi, 🍋 fruits-infused water, 🥛 soya milk, assorted cheese 🧀 platter, freshly cut 🍈🍉 fruits, yoghurt and 🥐🥞🧇 pastries. The gluten-free muffin 🧁 was surprisingly yummy. Crunchy at the bottom. First time trying gluten-free pastries! 😋

Every staffs were very polite and always having a cheerful smile on their faces. Totally brighten up your early morning when you're half-awake 🥱 and tiring evening after a long day at work! 🌟

The housekeeping team delighted and surprised me by giving very yummy flower 🌻 shaped cookies 🍪 on my first day by gently knocking on my door while I was chillaxing before dinner.

Their thoughtful freshly squeezed, healthy 🍏🥬 fruit juice, served in shots 🫗 to every table daily, at the end of the meal during breakfast was super amazing in easing my constipation caused by travelling stress. 🙏🏻

The guards manning the lobby were exceptionally helpful when Grab drivers called upon arrival and I couldn't see their cars, they'd answer on behalf since they only speak in Vietnamese, to guide the Grab cars 🚕 to the waiting area where I was.

The young man who assisted with my luggage 🧳 from car up to my room and another young lad, manning the hotel entrance, helped to carry all my bags into my ride to airport. Both chaps were super awesome! 🫶🏻

Definitely would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends for leisure or business trips. 🥰 Hope to return someday. 😁

From the moment you step into Mai House, you're welcomed by an atmosphere of cool, scented luxury, starting with the classical décor and gracefully curving central balustrade. Upstairs, the guest rooms are understated yet refined, noticeably more spacious than typical accommodations in Ho Chi Minh City. Somewhat unusually, the bedrooms are carpeted. I did feel the generous space would be even more inviting with the addition of a chaise longue or a more comfortable seating option for relaxation. Rooms were impressively quiet, with no disturbances from neighboring rooms or the corridor. Bathrooms are spacious with a large and efficient rainfall shower, and a bathtub available for those who prefer a more indulgent soak. It would be good to see a move away from single-use amenities, such as disposable shower gels and shampoos, in favor of more sustainable alternatives. The gym is spacious and fitted with really modern treadmills and a wide array of fitness equipment, while the (relatively small) pool offers a refreshing retreat from the bustle of the streets. On the 14th floor, the executive lounge offers a peaceful retreat with sweeping views over District 3. Breakfast at C'est la vie restaurant is a refined, quiet affair, far removed from the bustling atmosphere of The Anam Mui Ne. The variety on offer is exceptional, surpassing that of most other hotel breakfasts, and made-to-order dishes are served to your table with genuine warmth. Overall, Mai House leaves a lasting impression as a hotel that takes great pride in every detail. The interiors are immaculately maintained, and the staff are consistently proactive and gracious. While its District 3 location is reasonably central, getting to key attractions in District 1 requires a bit of extra effort—but Grab transport is readily available. Mai House is an serene retreat in Ho Chi Minh City, setting a benchmark of refinement...

Mai House Saigon – A Touch of Colonial Glamour in the Heart of HCMC Mai House Saigon is one of those rare gems that manage to feel both nostalgic and refreshingly modern. From the moment you walk into its elegant, marble-clad lobby, you’re transported into a world where Indochine charm meets understated luxury. The design and décor are top-notch — rich wooden detailing, vintage flourishes, and a calming palette that gives the whole place a serene yet sophisticated vibe. It feels grand without being over the top. Rooms are well-sized and beautifully appointed, with plush beds, luxurious linens, and a thoughtful layout. Bathrooms are sleek, with high-quality amenities. Soundproofing could be better depending on your floor and neighbors, but nothing majorly disruptive. Service is attentive and polished, yet not intrusive — the staff strike a nice balance between professionalism and warmth. Special mention to the concierge and front desk who handle requests with efficiency and grace. The breakfast buffet is impressive, with a generous spread covering both Western and Asian options, all beautifully presented. Try the pho – it’s a standout. The executive lounge (if you book a Club-level room) is also worth it for quiet moments, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails. Facilities: The rooftop pool is a sleek escape, though sun loungers can fill up quickly. The spa is serene and offers high-quality treatments. The gym is compact but well-equipped. Location-wise, you’re within easy reach of most of District 1’s attractions — cafes, shops, museums, and the vibrant street life that defines Saigon are all close by. If there’s one quirk: the atmosphere leans more classic than trendy. You won’t find a rooftop party scene here, but you will find calm, comfort, and a sense of old-world hospitality.
