Think Firkin from D1 with more light and space.

The same great cocktail bar with the same great drinks (they are different so don’t expect a copy and paste) but they had the opportunity to creat a different space and had more opportunity to work with light and floor space.

The result is spectacular. While Firkin in D1 has a classic dark cocktail space and feel, if you get to Dram when they open and it is still light outside, you can sit at the bar with the light at your back and reflected amongst the extensive whiskey selection available.

The cocktails are well done and the staff well trained, as you would expect from the group behind this new location.

Dram is accessed from a hidden door near Stoker. It was packed on the evening we were there. The food, especially the truffles fries were excellent and they did not scrimp on the truffle salt. Cocktail was quite nice as well. However, I had to take one point off service as the waitress decided for us that we would order 2 bottles of Evian water which cost VND150k each. All other tables were served free table water hence we had thought she had been referring to the free ones when she asked us. Even if we had wanted the Evian, why would we have ordered 2 right from the start? It reeks of some sneaky sales tactics which left a bitter taste...

This is my favorite bar in District 2. It belongs to the Tribe Hospitality, which includes several high-end restaurants such as Stoker and Dram, among others.

Currently, Dram is located on Dang Huu Pho St, which is quite easy to find. It’s situated above Stoker and the decor is quite luxurious. There’s a special private room dedicated to Hennessy. If you order a bottle, you can reserve a private room to host a party.

They have a billiard table making it a lot of fun. The staffs are very friendly, and moreover, the drinks are delicious.
