*In response to Eddy's Rep. * (you asked for it)
Thanks for taking the time to respond to my review.
I will do my best to respond appropriately to your well-written statement.
doesn't provide actionable feedback There 'was' action taken.. The incident in question was my last visit where my order had a hair in it. The manager at the time: apologized, made a new plate and still charged me for it. She also said to feel free to leave feedback online and express how you feel. So, per her instructions I did so. This may be a personal issue between myself and this individual as it seemed we once had a disagreement and since then my food has not come out right since. However, this incident with the hair was the final straw. I have been cordial and friendly yet she may have had some reservations.. nonetheless, this is the only thing that could explain the less than right food from that disagreement moving forward.
stood by our Satisfaction Guarantee. I agree and don't disagree. Certainly, can't always get it right, right?
We even review interactions through our video system. If it really concerns you have a look. Nonetheless, I'm sure it won't make a difference at this conjunction and I'm just one less customer and you still have high ratings ( which is fine and great ) but don't diminish my experience here as it really happened.
you often write negative reviews about restaurants. I do, but as you say I do have good reviews as well. Just as you have the right to respond and advertise your business and receive positive feedback, customers have the right to give their honest thoughts and express themselves through their dining experience.
In regards to my review, and to which unfortunately, was an experience I had, and you wish to expel and discredit.. it was just that.. my honest, and disappointing experience. If you look at my review, I stated this was an unfortunate situation which deeply saddened me, as Eddy's was a long time favorite for a long time expat like myself here. Google reviews is a platform for customers to express their personal experiences, so that others may be aware of what other customers have experienced.
I also encourage customers to experience Eddy's in my review and still do. However, if my experience was any indication of the direction of it's business.. it really does make me sad. Again, it was an experience I personally had, to which will be my last there.
Thanks Eddies.. it was good.

Update Sorry to say, it's probably my last time at Eddys, although I really was happy with the service before.. it has really gone downhill. Perhaps it was a request I made with my order for a change in the dish, nonetheless whatever led them to provide such poor service it has been disappointing to say the least. A few things of note: cold food, undercooked and sometimes overcooked foods, a hair in my food, reduced portions. Regardless, I always suggest people to try smth for themselves and provide their...
Read more[Update July 4] Came for the July 4th discounts. The cheeseburgers were 50K/$1.95 & hotdogs were 25K/$1 (exchange rate rounded to nearest nickel). The hotdogs were standard/regular; they tasted ok and for the price, good. I felt the burger was a bit salty and a little dry, a little small as well - one friend liked it. The two others tried the fries - they looked alright (good portions), but didn't try any. I tried a salted caramel glazed doughnut milkshake; 139K/$5.45. The doughnut was standard, but the milkshake was pretty good.
Service-wise, when we parked across the street, a guy came out with two umbrellas for us; they were great. They also gave us hats for Eddie's anniversary (same day as the 4th), which was nice.
There is 8% VAT and a 5% service fee (at least for dine-in).

Finally tried an Eddies. I got my food to go and I didn't eat either item fresh, waited for next day lunch. Maybe that made a difference?
The Ol' Smokey burger was supposed to be medium, it was done (no pink), and not really juicy nor very flavorful - average burger considering it was 229K ($9.00). Size of the patty is good.
The Philly Cheesesteak was better than the burger, yet also probably better if you pay more for the extra toppings. Plain pieces of beef with the nacho cheese sauce. Also 229K.
Both came with fries. The fries are run of the mill, unsalted if that's to your liking.
8% VAT tax, so I paid just under 500K for the two items.
There is a burger challenge that seems...
Read moreI love Vietnam but I miss the American food back home all of the time. Now hear me out, Vietnamese come to America and say the same thing, it's normal to want the foods you grew up eatting. That's why I'm glad a place like Eddies exist, it's a place for new and old commers to experience American old fashioned diner food as if they were sitting back at home in the states.
I highly recommend everything on the menu. Anything with steak is going to be absolutely amazing. The steak was so tender is was probably among the best I've had in my life. I recommend not buying the 100g, go for atleast 200g because you'll be wanting more.
The shakes were great, tastetul and plenty of options.
I loved getting served my coca cola in a nice tall beer mug. That's a very nice touch.
The pancakes were okay, not as fluffy as I'd like but acceptable for the price.
The ham and bacon is exactly how it should taste, it's the only pork I've had here in Vietnam that I've enjoyed. I wish they served it in larger portions.
The burgers are 10/10! Absolutely the best burgers I've had in Vietnam. And they give you a bottle of mustard, ketchup, and MAYO! The things Vietnamese don't really use, Eddies is here for our western taste buds.
Eddies went through a lot of trouble to get everything down to the finest details and it's very observant in quality, taste, atmosphere and service.
The service is great and the prices are acceptable, I wanted to try everything so I...
