Dear The Loop Owner/Manager
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share some feedback regarding my recent visits to your coffee shop, a place that has been a cherished part of my life for over a decade.
As a loyal customer, I have always held your establishment in high regard for its cozy ambiance, quality beverages, and the countless memories it holds for me. However, it deeply pains me to express my disappointment with the declining level of service I have encountered lately.
In the past, part of what made my visits so enjoyable was the warm welcome and attentive care provided by your staff. Sadly, this seems to have changed. On several occasions, I found myself waiting for an extended period for the menu to be brought to my table, sometimes exceeding 30 minutes, and having to actively seek out a waitress to place my order. This delay not only detracted from the overall experience but also made me feel undervalued as a loyal customer.
Furthermore, I have noticed a concerning trend regarding the provision of water. It used to be a thoughtful gesture to have my glass refilled without having to ask, but lately, it seems to be overlooked. I understand that busy periods can be challenging, but the essence of hospitality lies in the little gestures that show you care.
Most disheartening of all is the demeanor of one particular staff member, the waitress who wears glasses. Her lack of attentiveness to customer needs and apparent preference for engaging in gossip rather than attending to patrons has left a lasting impression on me. As someone who holds your coffee shop dear to my heart, it saddens me to witness such behavior tarnishing its reputation.
Please understand that my intention in sharing this feedback is not to criticize but to express my genuine concern. I believe in the potential of your coffee shop to continue providing memorable experiences for customers old and new. However, it is imperative to address these issues promptly to ensure that the spirit of hospitality and warmth is preserved.
I sincerely hope that you will take this feedback to heart and implement measures to improve the quality of service at your establishment. I want nothing more than to see your coffee shop thrive and continue being a place where cherished memories are made.
Thank you for taking the time to consider my concerns. I look forward to seeing positive changes that will benefit both customers and staff alike.

Very sad to say after being a customer for years that that The Loop is not safe to eat at for veggie/vegans anymore or people with allergies.
Yesterday we ordered two vegetarian dishes and both had chicken in. One was the vegetarian pumpkin soup that the server said contains chicken stock and the other was a goats cheese pasta which also contains chicken stock. They only informed us when we were about to eat the food, because I triple checked about my allergy, not when ordering.
The Asian pumpkin soup has ALWAYS been clearly labelled as Veg on the menu, and I’ve eaten it so many times unaware it contains chicken, the pasta was unclearly labelled containing no meat ingredients but upon checking (after finding out about the chicken stock in the soup) they confirmed the vegetarian pasta also had chicken in.
I also made them fully aware about my gluten allergy and what I cannot eat, The Loop provides gluten free options on the menu, including GF bread and therefore you expect the chef has a basic understanding of what gluten free means for safety of customers, after triple checking about gluten and what was in my dish I was then informed it had ‘a little bit’ of flour inside.
This is unacceptable that vegetarian customers have been served chicken products probably for a long time, and the response from The Loop was totally inadequate in person and by message.
Unfortunately The Loop is no longer safe for people with allergies or who are veggie/vegan as their menu is so mislabelled and chef has no idea about food allergies.
I used to go here all the time so I’m gutted to find out as a veggie or over 10 years I’ve actually been given chicken multiple times unaware 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Totally unsafe and unacceptable. No regard for customer preferences or...

obscure exterior had me overlook this restaurant for years. In fact, driving past many times, we assumed it was a coffee shop.
we finally stopped by on a very quiet evening and had a really hearty, tasty meal- an amazingly thick and delicious clam chowder, appetizers and 2 different middle eastern chicken dishes served in metal skillets along with really interesting spiced sauces.
and, to our surprise they had a very large and interesting menu.
The menu design and chef understands the complex ingredients necessary to create unique flavors... more sophisticated tastes than i expected.
been back a half dozen times since and sampled several different dishes all with the same pleasant result... just really wonderful food in a sleepy atmosphere.
The service is a bit sleepy and the ambiance needs a refresh, but the food is what you come to a restaurant for. if you want tons of ambiance, overpriced and mediocre food more designed to look good than to taste good, you go to Coastal in Riverside Serviced Apartments.
not sure why the owner of The Loop doesn't spruce it up a bit or make the exterior signage a bit more prominent as food is so much tastier and more interesting than L'Usine, Lubu, Mekong Merchants, etc and at a more...
