Love your nachos and many other menus, but I’ve had many mix experiences there. Your staff has mix qualities. 1st Visit: the staff seems nice and friendly, food was great. I wanted to go back.
2nd Visit: not too bad, but start to notice some staff seems less willing, I thought it might just be the zone I’m sitting is not the zone they are appointed.
3rd Visit: the Book zone was almost full and we didn’t want to sit out under the sun so we tried to go to the other zone (kids zone) that had only one family and all the other tables were available, but were aggressively refuse entry and they insist that we didn’t have kids and could not sit there. We almost walked but I was too hungry and I really missed the nachos so I stayed. The staff, at least some of them, did try to take care of us better than normal, that’s why I didn’t complain then.
4th Visit: everything seems normal, but when it’s time to close, the staff made it very clear that they want us to leave asap. One of the staff just kinda drop the bill and say sorry we are closing while we were in a middle of our conversation and meal. I was a busboy and waiter for a restaurant in Pasadena CA, and my family still operates a restaurant in Thailand, so I can relate to how much they wanna go home, but still surprised by how clear it was they want us out from their attitude. At our restaurant, we will ask if the customer would like to make any additional orders, because the kitchen will be closing soon (1 hour before closing). After their last order has been served, we would wait for them to finish their meal and then ask them if they would mind paying the bill first? The restaurant will be close at 23:00 and we will have to start the cleaning, please excuse us for your inconveniences.
5th Visit: all ok, good food decent service.
6th Visit: we a party of 6, ordered 6 dishes, 3 were Mexican, 3 were not. We only wanted 2 of the margaritas that was part of the promotion and 2 soft drinks which was part of another promotion and paying for 2 other shakes, the staff say we cannot combine the promotion unless it was a separate bill. So I asked them to make it six separate bills, the staff facial expressions was like “you cannot do that” but she said that she had to check with the manager, and finally the manager agrees to it, after I said that we could split up and sit at six tables too if that’s policy of the restaurant that the promotion could not be combined. It’s not like we want 6 margaritas and six soft drinks. After that experience with the policy and staff, I cannot understand the unstable attitude of the team, your nachos calling has not been working on me for over a month. Even now writing this review, I am hungry, but rather go elsewhere then to go to see my lovely nachos because I almost snap at Snap. I’m not ready to expect the unexpected of the policy and crew there. Maybe one day I’ll be back to Snap Cafe, when I’m sure that I...
Read moreTo: Owner,
Hi there,
I usually don’t do a review but I must say I am disappointed with the way your staffs and manager (as he said he is) handled the situation.
I came in with my wife minutes ago for a lunch and your staffs (2 of them) asked me to move over to another section as the other place is for kids.
I said I have been a loyal customer for past 8yrs+ and introduced many people to your cafe and always eat in this section.
Your two staffs and your manager insist and then have the nerve to say that we brought drinks in that are not allowed, as to insinuate that we cannot afford to buy drinks from your establishment.
If this is how your restaurant train rude staffs to treat loyal customers, I can promise you that you will never get business from me anymore and definitely I will pass on the poor experience to all others.
Totally unacceptable and reflects that you’re lack service training or need to relook at it carefully.
I highly recommend that you look into this as I cannot be the only one who has been treated rudely and had a poor experience. Never have I been forced to eat where staffs want me to sit, especially when you restaurant is not...
Read moreI love the chill ambiance and relaxing atmosphere of this place. It has the vibe of being on a beach or resort, away from the hustle and bustle of the metropolis.
Food choice are plenty. They offer kiddie meals as well. The Hell burger is delicious and really spicy. It’s a must-try. Enjoyed the fries despite being quite soft and soggy. The chicken quesadillas needs some a bit more flavor.
They serve gourmet coffee but don’t expect any single origin variety if you’re a coffee aficionado.
Great place to take friends and family or if you want to have alone time. There is also a play area for kids. It was sensitive and thoughtful of them to have an area for kids to play so as not to disturb other customers.
Food quality is above average. Price point is above average as well. A lot of foreign customers come to this place.
Servers are attentive, courteous, and friendly. Place is clean and tidy.
Ample parking for motorbike inside the compound. Cars may be parked along the street. A parking aide will assist you.
Highly...
