Terrible Experience: Poor Management, Overcharging, and Slow Service

Visited KATINAT Coffee this morning (10 AM) and had an extremely disappointing experience.

Lack of Ingredients: Despite being early in the day, the staff claimed they didn’t have enough ingredients to make two regular coffees. Unacceptable for a coffee shop to fail at basic preparation. Overcharging Issue: Our order total was 184,000 VND, but when we paid in cash, the staff said they had "no change" and asked us to pay by card instead. Shockingly, the credit card transaction showed 316,000 VND—132,000 VND overcharged! At last the staff returned the money with the excuse of machine malfunction. Slow and Unprofessional Service: Despite only a few customers, our coffee took over 20 minutes to prepare. The staff were chatting instead of working, with no sense of urgency or apology for the delay.

Conclusion: Poor management, financial irregularities, and terrible service. Will never return and do not recommend this place.

Additional Note: If you were overcharged, keep your receipt and take a photo of the order screen (if possible) to dispute the transaction with your bank. Consider reporting this to local consumer protection if the store refuses to...

It’s a beautiful Saturday morning as the sun is not too sunshine and the streets are not too busy. I took a walk around the zoo, then alongside the Nguyen Binh Khiem street for a green bathing under the oldest trees of Saigon.

This cafe caught my eyes many times every time i ride motorbike passing by, but never had a chance to stop for a drink.

I crossed the street, walked in a big glass door to enter the cafe and spotted a seat facing to the street through a glass wall.

I ordered a Rambutan Milk Tea, a new seasonal drink. Not a milk tea person, but I like rambutan, so I gave this drink a chance to reach my taste. Surprisingly it didn’t let me down. The milk tea is actually good. It tastes the black tea flavor, with the smell of creamy milk, but not too sweet. I like this milk tea. Some fresh rambutan toppings bring something new to a common milk tea. I would highly recommend this drink.

While drinking milk tea, I had a little time to watch the motorbikes passing by and the green trees above my head. It’s always feeling peaceful on this part...
