Express by M Village Nguyễn Bỉnh Khiêm — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

I would like to give a big shout out to Nguyen and her team members Anh, Han,Trung & Huy. They are amazing human beings. They worship their workplace and connect with customers. They don't speak english but still they put 100% effort to deliver what we need. The best thing is they have a whatsapp for hotel where you can message 24x7 and they will respond to your query or request. I have been staying in hotels and travelling however i have never come across such a polite & professional people in my life. We booked two standard rooms and both were new. I will highlight the hotel summary : Its nice & new place hotel is in discrict -1 near Zoo, restaurants, massage, gym all walking distance. The hotel is in Residential area which is very safe and they gate closes at 11pm so no outisder can enter to the street and they is security gaurd also. Air Con, hot Water, beds, linens, everything is good they dont provide food but they do have little snack shelf along with complementary coffee, tea, water. -Laundry & Dryer is in the basement with free washing liquid. -Elevators are good condition. -I did not spot any bugs or insects inside or outside the room. I highly recommend this place if you are getting good deal from agoda or booking.com, please do not have high expectations of a granger place. If you want to compare this hotel then I would say it is similar to ibis or may be little better. Being a Kiwi/Aussie I am writing an honest review. I will definetly come back for the same hotel it is anytime better than A25 or other...

I spent two nights here, and both came with issues.

On the first night, I was assigned a room facing the garage entrance, right next to the reception. I could hear all the conversations and noises coming from there. I requested a room change, and at first, the staff asked for an additional fee of 400,000 VND. However, I was eventually given a much better, quieter room at no extra charge. Unfortunately, the sofa had a burnt hole from a cigarette. The rooms have kitchens, but there are no pans or pots. On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable.

For the second night, I booked a Deluxe Apartment with balcony, which was significantly more expensive, expecting to enjoy some peace and quiet. Unfortunately, the room was not soundproof at all, and the balcony turned out to be a nightmare. The gardens of the building across the street seemed to attract loud birds, and at times, I could also hear dogs barking. The room’s photos looked much better than reality.

Upon my request, the staff moved me to a lower-standard room, so I ended up losing some money, but I accepted it because I preferred peace and quiet. However, this room had a major issue - there were some ants, and they even got inside my MacBook. The next day, while using it in a café, small ants kept crawling out of it.

I am giving 3 stars solely because of the manager’s willingness to cooperate and accommodate...

I really loved your brand until i got a bad experience here , i used to stay at couples of property in SG and mostly felt me postived though. We texted to the team via zalo for booking and agreed extra charge for kids with certain amount and then once we checked in quite late, the female receptionist could not make it harder for asking me to show the sms to prove that your reservation team offered me that price which is lower than what they are supposed to be charged at the property which is not professional at all ( she should check with her team instead and the whole team not working well together for bkg info). We checked out a bit late with kids and the feeling she created is the key : we are such a liar. Sorry not sorry if we are drammatic but the that vibe was not the thing we want to be greeted at the hotel . the room was super clean , quite and near the center , everything was perfect except that sense. I will keep picking...
