MeTrang Coffee — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

This is the worst cafe I've ever visited. Instant regret. I don't know where to start. The drinks were way too sweet ( even for local Southern Vietnamese who drank with us ). The staff is very lazy and they made the egg coffee really really bad. Please look at the picture since the "egg foam" looks nothing like it should.

Another very strange thing ( this can only happen in Vietnam ), was the sign by the register. It's only in Vietnamese but it basically says that if you don't take a receipt, you'll get free water....like what????

The staff didn't even issue me a receipt and then when I asked for my free water ( they do not provide ANY water for any customer ), the staff said they printed it but forgot to give it to me. So in their logic I'm not entitled to water. I don't know about you guys but this is complete madness.

Please save yourself time and money and do...

I stopped by this café for a coffee and had a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and communicated in passable English, so I didn’t need to rely on translation apps, which was a nice bonus. The seating arrangement made it suitable for impromptu business meet ups as I saw several people discussing whilst typing on their laptops.

While the coffee was great, the décor and setup could benefit from some updates to create a more comfortable and soothing atmosphere. A few changes could enhance the overall ambiance and make it an even more inviting place to relax.

I also tried the tiramisu, which was delightful and worth a taste.

A good place to chill late night and spend time with friends and family. It's cozy and friendly with nature. A lot of planting inside and outside building. If you want to feel nature, outside terrace is also a great choice that I recommend. Try their best seller and recommendation, you won't be disappointed 😉 I was surprised that they don't check temperature and ask to show Vax certificates. However it was crowded. All staffs were so nice. They let us know our order may take time due to the busy making order. We feel satisfied to wait for the order and...
