Mo-Mo-Paradise — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

This restaurant serve hot-pot buffet. They have 4 kinds of hot-pot broth for us to choose. The staffs will bring pork and beef for us and fill it up until you get full (just 2 kinds of meat to put in your hot-pot). We can pick-up the vegetable and the ingredients for the sauce by ourself (They served 2 sauces also the black one for beef and the yellow one for pork). I had a dinner with my team in Nguyen Thi Minh Khai branch and they have promotion for every Monday "Go 4 and check out for 3". We chose Shabu Shabu hot-pot broth it was okay for me. I like my Umeshu wine (the bottle one is better than the glass one) and I like their free ice-cream too. My friend said the taro flavor is pretty good but I hadn't tried it because I was so full. I’d rate this place 3.5 stars. I’m actually glad there’s a spot to get Sukiyaki in HCMC and might visit again, but the meat selection and the upgrade to Australian Wagyu weren’t great.

Surprisingly, the beef included in the standard option was better marbled and more tender than the Australian Wagyu upgrade, which was disappointing—I expected a better cut.

I’ve been to Mo-Mo Paradise in Tokyo, and while I didn’t expect the same quality and service as in Japan, I was hoping for something closer or at least a lower price. For a similar price although slightly lower price, the quality here fell short, which was unfortunate.

If you visit, I’d recommend sticking with the standard selection or upgrading to the Japanese Wagyu (which I haven’t tried yet). The Australian Wagyu upgrade wasn’t worth it in...

I am happy with the selection of food, sauces, mushrooms and veggies. They seem never been lack of anything, unlike other buffet restaurants. Everything in the menu are available at the time I come. Dessert options really need to be improved. They are limited options and tasteless.

We went here on Wednesday and the waitress made us aware that they are buffet type and we can choose buffet options in the menu. She however, didn't mention anything about Wednesday promotion.
