I recently had the pleasure of staying at the MGallery Arts Saigon Hotel, and it was a truly outstanding experience. From the moment we arrived, the exceptional service, luxurious rooms, and top-notch facilities exceeded our expectations. The service at MGallery Arts Saigon is unparalleled. From the welcoming smiles to the prompt assistance with any request, the staff made us feel like VIPs throughout our stay. We were particularly impressed by Duong Ha, whose professionalism and dedication were evident in every interaction. His commitment to ensuring our comfort and satisfaction was remarkable, and we have no doubt that he will go far in his career. Concierge Trung and front desk officer Hong Loan also deserve special mention for their outstanding work and warm welcome. Trung's attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile, along with Hong's gracious and efficient service, made our stay truly memorable. Our room was a haven of comfort and elegance. The tasteful decor, plush bedding, and modern amenities provided a perfect blend of luxury and convenience. The attention to detail in the room's design and the high standard of cleanliness were impressive. We enjoyed a peaceful and restful night's sleep, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel's facilities are second to none. The swimming pool area was a relaxing retreat, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the city. The fitness center was well-equipped, allowing us to maintain our workout routine with ease. Additionally, the hotel's spa offered a range of rejuvenating treatments, making it easy to indulge in some much-needed pampering. The dining options at MGallery Arts Saigon are superb. The on-site restaurants offered a diverse range of delicious dishes, catering to various tastes and preferences. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which featured a delightful selection of both local and international cuisine. The bar was a great place to unwind in the evening, offering a wide variety of expertly crafted cocktails and an extensive wine list. Our stay at MGallery Arts Saigon was nothing short of exceptional. The impeccable service, luxurious room, excellent facilities, and delightful food and drink options made it a memorable experience. We are especially grateful to Duong Ha, concierge Trung, and front desk officer Hong Loan for their exemplary service. Duong, in particular, impressed us with his dedication and professionalism, and we are confident that he has a bright future ahead. We highly recommend MGallery Arts Saigon to anyone seeking a luxurious and memorable stay in Saigon.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay for my birthday weekend in July. I have broken the review down into sections below. Overall, 5/5 stay rivalled only by some of the finest 5 stars I’ve stayed at. Location: Hotel is well located in the central area. Everything important and worth seeing is within walking distance. Hotel overall: As you enter the hotel, you’re greeted with modern traditional decor that’s not over the top, rather very elegant. The staff’s uniform is the best I’ve seen at any 5 star I’ve stayed at. Staff: The staff are well spoken, knowledgeable and very kind. They go above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable. We were always greeted with polite conversation and and big smiles. They are extremely well dressed and polished. Room: As with the theme of the hotel, the room has a modern traditional design with heavy French influence. The rooms are small but well designed to make them feel roomy. The bathing area is separated by a curtain, however, the toilet and shower have separate rooms. The room is equipped with a multi-port chargers. The bed is very comfortable but the pillows were not. Despite getting some off the menu, we couldn’t find one that suit our needs. Memory foam would have been nice. They also provide 4 bottles of water a day, but you can call for more and they have no issues replenishing unlike other hotels in HCMC. There is a coffee machine (Nespresso) and a mini bar which we did not use. The bath amenities smelt heavenly. Breakfast: we had access to daily breakfast. No complaints here. You have everything you could think off and the food is delicious. The pastry section was exemplary. The staff were attentive and replenished cutlery without even asking. In-room dining: We ordered in-room dining few times, the food was okay but I highly recommend eating in the city instead. Rooftop bar: There is a rooftop bar worth attending. We didn’t order any drinks but the view was fantastic. Spa: Had a wonderful and relaxing signature treatment but not the best we’ve experienced at a hotel spa. Left a lot to be desired and our experience was soured when we found out that the same treatment at their other branch is half the price. Despite this overcharging, the lady at the reception of the spa tried to force us to tip in addition to the ludicrous service charge they already impose.

Out of the 4 Accor hotels I stayed at in HCMC this month (one week each), this one is supposed to be the **best and most expensive**. But surprisingly, it had the **worst hospitality** compared to the others. First impression? I actually loved it. The room layout was beautiful, super clean, and had that high-end luxury feel. I was really happy on the first day. But as the days went by, I started noticing a lot of issues—especially with the staff. I usually don’t write negative reviews, but honestly, many of the staff here were cold, unwelcoming, and lacked basic courtesy. It really changed how I felt about staying here. The worst moment came on my third day. I had some friends over and we planned to have coffee in my room, so I called and requested some. A few minutes later, a woman (who seemed to be in a higher position than a regular housekeeper) came to my door and bluntly asked how much *more* coffee I wanted—as if I was asking for extras. But in reality, the coffee and tea hadn’t even been refilled once. I explained it nicely, but without saying a word or taking off her shoes, she just walked into the room, checked the coffee station, and left. She came back later with the coffee, but her attitude was extremely rude—she looked angry the whole time and didn’t say a word. My friends were shocked and honestly felt uncomfortable. It was embarrassing and made us it really brought down the overall impression of the hotel. Also, if you’re traveling with kids—this hotel is definitely not kid-friendly. There’s nothing much for children, and the staff don’t seem very understanding or patient with families. I had my little ones with me and really felt like we weren’t welcome or even acknowledged most of the time. It just added to the overall uncomfortable vibe. For a hotel that markets itself as one of the best in the city, I expected much better. Beautiful space, yes—but hospitality matters just as much, if not more. I truly hope they work on improving staff training and the overall guest experience.

The M Gallery at Ho Chi MInh City is a luxurious and well-located hotel. It is within 5 to 10 mins walk to historic places that one must visit while in HCM. It has all the features and beauty of a 5-star hotel. However, what sets it apart from the rest of the 5-star hotel is the hotel staff and the services provided. When I walked into the hotel and tried checking in, the duty manager at the front desk checked my passport and found out that I am a Platinum member and directed me to the executive lounge for the check-in. What impressed me was that in the few seconds she checked my passport, she remembered my name and address me by my name when I re-appeared in the lobby the next day.

The manager and staffs at the executive lounge are very helpful and attentive to the guest needs. Their service is excellent. An example is that they found out that I like green tea as I ordered it for breakfast and a few occasions. When I go to the lounge to relax and read my book, they would bring a pot of green tea without me even asking for it. The green tea is served in very beautiful china tea pot set.

When my hand-held shower head leaked during usage, I reported it via the housekeeping number. Within 10 mins, one of the housekeeping staffs who was doing her daily duties knocked on my door to investigate the issue. The next moment, she took out her mobile phone and took a photo of the problematic part. She told me that she is sending it to their maintenance team to change the shower head for me. While they were looking into this issue, I went to the lounge to relax. When I reached the lounge, I was surprised that the staff there knew about my problem and assured me that the issue is being resolved and apologies for the inconvenience. I was in the lounge for about an hour to read my book. When I returned to my room, the shower head was replaced and the room cleaned. This is what I call service excellence. The communication within the hotel team assured that any guest complaint is address immediately. I had come across hotels where guest complaint went into a black hole and the guest had to remind the front desk many times before the issue was addressed. To top off my experience on this issue, the Room Director got to know about it and sent a very nice BBQ Pork sandwich and 2 bottles of fresh watermelon juice the next day for the inconvenience caused. Excellent service!

The hotel has excellent buffet lunch and dinner, but my personal favourite is their Wagyu Beef Pho. It is the best beef pho I have ever had. It is even better than the Wagyu Beef Pho at the Sofitel Metropole in Hanoi (That is my favourite hotel in Hanoi). All the staffs at the Saigon Kitchen gave excellent service.

I will definitely be staying in M Gallery the next time...
