Next Level - Cocktails & Consoles — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

Came here with my crew to check it out as being a super fan of bespoke restaurants/bars. Well, what can I say? It's a trip down memory lane with many arcade games (metal slug, kingkong, ninja turtles) to NES (contra, megaman, ninja turtles, etc.) to Nintendo Switch, Xbox and PS 4. Downstair is catered to small groups and upstairs is for larger groups as they have 2 separate rooms with Nintendo Switch for team players. It was quite slow when we arrived as no one was downstair. A room upstairs was reserved for a group ongoing party. So we decided to sit by the bar to grasp the full vibe of the place. We ordered a few cocktails to start and had a chat with the owner to hear his story. This is what I personally like, listen to the owners' stories. It inspires me as these people are so talented and creative to do what they're doing. My job requires me to be creative so I always like surround myself with alike people. Well, the reason why I give this place a 3-star instead of a 4 is because the cocktails were not that great. I understand the concept was more for gamers but it would be nice to tackle both: games and drinks. That would be an ideal for those who don't just come for games, but drinks, like myself. And if it was for games then there wasn't given that many games either on the Xbox and PS 4. So my point is, the concept is great just need a bit more work on the execution. The owner is super friendly and attentive to your needs. If you ask me, would I return to this place? The answer is, not very soon if there isn't much changes. Unless they make better...

Awesome spot!! Great place to go for DELICIOUS cocktails, an excellent selection of games and game consoles, and a friendly atmosphere! I was shocked they had so many consoles! (Several Nintendo switch consoles, wii's, PlayStation 4, xboxes, Super Nintendo emulators and arcade machines!!!) The drinks are fantastic! And i mean Gin, whiskey or otherwise, they are all awesome! They also have a great selection of craft beers!! I've had a great time Everytime I've visited and i highly recommend a visit for anyone interested in a cocktails and consoles experience! No matter what console or drink you prefer, there's something for everyone here, and did i mention it's an open bar so you can drink anything you can name?...

By far best cocktail bar in Ho chi minh. Theyre the only only one who made my favuorite cocktail right, to think its a simple reciple for Old fashioned and Negroni and yet other bars in the city still messes it up.. They also make a mean Long island which is made upon special request so go for it if you want a proper strong drink! Shoutout to Mario and Derek for hosting us! Must visit Bar if you know your cocktails, And btw, Next level also means they make it Extra strong and extra nice compared to other places. 10/10 would...
